Which Hype? God of Shinobi (Hashi) or God of Shinobi (Hiruzen)

The God of shinboi tag to me states that the ninja in question was the strongest of their generation.
Hashirama has been noted to be strongest of his generation. Hiruzen has been noted to be the strongest of his generation by kabuto who commented on his age age ans still claimed what he did.

Their hype do not contradict each other because it relates to completely different era's.
However if you try and argue from the stand point of hashirama using suigetsu, you are bound to fail

kishimoto knew the idea of Hashirama*. in part one he may have not even so much have even thought of a deeper background story for him. we dont even know none of their names until part 2. we cant say what kishimoto knew or didnt know but all we can judge from is the readers point of view.

Hashirama's hype is more legit because he has more feats. Sure hiruzen has defeated orachimaru and learned many jutsu but hashirama taught hiruzen and he also has stronger jutsu. Therefore, because of the validity of hashirama's strength, his hype for being god of shinobi is more favorable.

And that brings up a tricky question.. If the title is giving to the ninja/ninjas that are above all in a generation, then there should be much more God's of shinobi around... but the giving of the title seems to be sparse.. which leads me to believe it's for ninjas who not only possessed superior qualities.. but also were masters of everything in means to be a shinobi

It isnt just his ability, it's his overall presence and knowledge. He clearly isn't the strongest, but his is very intelligent in his field (Uchiha) and influencing others. Those who have been given the title were obviously strong, the strongest of their time but that alone (i doubt) would have given the title "God of Shinobi" as we've seen, it's so much more than that.

For me, isn't his ability and intellect combined that would give him that title for HIS generation. This isn't saying he is the strongest or most intelligent. His stature is just so high in the series, that even Kish makes it apparent that he cant be ignored in major situation (the bastard)
