Which Hokage do you think made the most and biggest mistake/failures?

people who say tobi because of edo are mistaken, because if the third had killed oro when should of then there would be no problem, and if hashi would have killed madra when he should of there would be no obito or war. but also all these things have lead to a one ninja army and every one is on the road to true peace. first off he let Orochimaru live to do his mf experiments on people etc, and when he finally decided to kill Oro, he failed

he was in charge during the Uchiha massacre and couldn't stop the coup d'etat in a diff way


the BIGGEST mistake has to be Hashirama, for failing to killing off Madara.... TWICE

as far as I'm concerned, and you are free to call me a fan boy if you want, but Tobirama didn't make any mistakes, he gave the Uchihas their own place in the village, same with the Hyuuga clan, they also had their own place in the village, so that is no excuse for a coup d'etat. also you can't blame him for creating Edo Tensei, or else you'd have to blame the SO6P for creating the Juubi, and also Hashirama for having cells, bcoz they've all contributed to this war one way or another

To be honest, Hashirama.

Hashirama failed to kill Madara, which lead to Obito's corruption, which lead to the bloodline purges in Kirigakure, then the Nine-Tails Attack on Konohagakure, then the Uchiha Clan Massacre, and finally this war.

Hiruzen failed to live up to Tobirama's legacy.

Minato sacrificed himself when Hiruzen, a retired old man, could have done the same.

Tobirama did not devise Edo Tensei when he was the Nidaime Hokage, seeing as Hashirama was familiar with the jutsu when he was first revived. It has nothing to do with him as a Hokage.

Tobirama who created edo tensei was a big mistake and he knows well that revive people is not a good thing to do, and why did he created it?

I'd say it's a tie between tobirama and minato. Hashirama didn't really do anything wrong that we know of. Tobirama discriminated against the uchiha which fed the cycle of hatred and minato failed to kill obito.

Hashirama - Couldn't bring himself to kill Madara, lacked backbone and couldn't impose his decisions, which would probably have made the Narutoverse a better place. He really seems to lack common sense. The only redeeming thing he has would be his strength and his good nature, which united Konoha. Other than that, he's quite frankly a terrible leader.

Tobirama - Though he did make the situation worse, he was already in a tight spot. His prejudices toward the Uchiha Clan were all justified, though he contributed to aggravate the tensions. He invented Edo Tensei, and that's a terrible thing, but he also developed Space/Time jutsu, which is now proving to be really useful. In the end, he really cared for Konoha, and made much more rational choices than his brother. It's up to personal opinions for him, but in my book, he did what a leader has to do.

Hiruzen - He let the Uchiha Clan get massacred. He let Danzo run wild with his own armed branch and experiments. He let Orochimaru become a MASSIVE threat to the village. He didn't do jack sh*t to make sure Naruto wouldn't be ostracized by the village (don't feed me the "He didn't tell Naruto who is father was to keep him safe" BS. EVERYBODY knew Naruto was the Kyuubi's host, and thus he was already a target). And ALL his actions had horrible consequences. A horrible leader, really. If Tobirama made the situation worse, then Hiruzen nearly dug Konoha's grave.

Minato - He didn't do much. Fought Tobi and Kyuubi, fair enough. He seems kinda immature though, not sure he would have turned out to be such a great Hokage after all. But whatever, I can't judge, he only did good things. (Though you can sorta blame Rin's fate on him, but I won't do that). A good Hokage

Tsunade - Errrrr... First, she seems really weak compared to the others. She had one opportunity to shine during the Pain Arc. I have mixed feelings about it. Would it have been better to directly fight Pain to stop him from harming more people? Was trying to heal the whole village a good idea? In my book, it was an okay reaction, so I'll let it go. But she really screwed up during the war council, when she talked about how to deal with Naruto. Gaara, who's 30 years younger than her, had a better understanding of how to deal with the situation... She was useful against Madara though. Mixed to negative feelings about her.



So I'd say it's between Hashirama and Hiruzen. I'll vote when I'm sure.

-Simply a technique to wipe out the enemies as stated by Madara
-To revive Hashirama or one of his other brothers

-Let Orochimaru go just to have him launch a full-scale assault on the village.

Hizuren let Orochimaru leave the village unscathed. He dropped the ball there.

Obito and Madara shit on Oro as threat to Konoha so Minato and Hashirama should take this no diff (by your logic)

Hashirama made the biggest failure because he failed to kill madara. If Madara was dead...
-obito would have never been a lunatic
-there would have been no nine tails attck on the village
-minato would have never died (possibly resulting in naruto being under his fathers wing, maybe minato giving naruto his flying thunder god formula)
-kushina would have never died as well (possible teaching naruto the uzumaki clan most secretive techniques and seal)
-no akatsuki
-asuma wouldnt have died
-neji wouldnt have died
-most importantly no war man.

hiruzen made most of the mistakes
-he wasnt able to stop the uchiha massacre. i felt he could of the much more when the leaf and uchiha had conflicts but instead he just let danzo decided the fate of an entire clan.
-he let orochimare kill and experiment on people and he aint do nothing about it just because that was his favorite sstudent. he even let him get away
-and even when he had a second chance to take out orochimaru during the attack on the leaf village, he couldnt even manage to have the reaper take orochimarus entire soul, instead he just took his arms and died -_____-

I just felt that he could of done much better and put more effort during his reign as hokage.

Hiruzen... completely failed at dealing with the Uchiha coup, failed at dealing with Oro, failed with Danzo, etc.
he pretty much just seemed like he had no control over anything, it seemed more like the elders and Danzo were he ones calling all the shots.

Tobirama... Uchihas and Edos.
he should have just erased all records of the edos jutsu. it was obvious that if it falled in the wrong hands it would cause a lot of trouble.

the others are meh. don0t see them as big mistakes.
