Why is there this specific need of most of the members on base to only support the clubs who are successfull ???

If this is the case rest 18 clubs in every league will be left without no fans ...

Dude arsenal is not a one man team , vp is a class player there is no doubt about that ...
but its the way arsenal that suits him ....

yah they firing alot of managers they finally won the premiere league but their manager got fired sad right but AVB should stay for a long period and they will fire him so thats why we must win the UEFA champions!!

No we didn't, ManU should of won by more than that. We had no urge to got forward, everything was so stale and the passing was so terrible, we were pinned into defending the whole game. Lindegaard made like only one save throughout the match... We had no spirit, even our fans boo'd us at half time. We were at home to an attendance of 40000 yet we play such horrible football.

Mcleish is a defensive manager and not a great one at that. He puts 9 men behind the ball and Darren Bent becomes isolated for the rest of the game. When we have the ball, we kick it up the field in hope Bent can do something. Bent is a poacher, he should be in the box, getting supplied with crosses from the wing, something Young and Downing were perfect at last season. Look at how much impact Bent made after the transfer, he saved us from relegation because of that supply. Now it's gone... Agbonlahor plays out of position and N'zogbia isn't at his potential.

yup if you had Young and downing you would have definetly won against the struggling man u ,

but why in the hell mcleish brought on heskey , when was the last time he scored (really i am asking you).

He's only scored twice in his last 28 appearances. All of us Aston Villa fans are so perplexed as to why Mcleish and even Houllier before him plays Emile... And that shot at goal at the end of the game that went for a throw-in really sums up how crap he is :|

Basically, Emile Heskey's only good attribute he has left is that he's somewhat of a bulldozer, someone who is strong and it fits in well with Mcleish's defense philosophy, heck he even played Emile in defense a few games ago during the latter parts of the match but reality is, he brings nothing to the team.

The only thing I liked about the match itself was Albrighton, I'm a big fan of Albrighton and I see him doing well in the future and under the guidance of Young/Downing, he learnt a few things and in a season or two (given enough game time) he'll come good as well as Bannan, Herd and Clark. He also plays N'zogbia in the wrong position (on the right, when he's a left-footed player) but it seems to be a trend with the likes of higher-up clubs but it doesn't work well with the likes of Charles.

The thing that annoys me the most is that we play a defensive style, but our actual defense is so inept and Hutton brings nothing to the team either, he's just as inept as Collins and Dunne - though I have nothing against Warnock.

If u wanted fab u should have paid his price ,think of this as a favour form arsenal he still had two years left in his contract he could have gone for double what u paid ..

look at nasri he had only one left, then to man city paid 20 mill upfront for him ...

You get paid kumi You don't need to be a writer or good at english as long as we understand what you are trying to say (everyone makes mistakes), but at least back up your info that is all we are asking, don't come up with one sentence saying, which at times are irrelevant to the topic. You opened a discussion and went on about it all we are doing is replying to it.

Before going forward here do inform me are you for or against Fab? One point your all defending him and the other next you don't good words for him.

First Silva (who you call second best) was signed for about 20 mill, and Cesc left for more than 25 mill (or at least Arsenal will get more later on). I've stated this above before, Cesc was offered 50+ mill by Madrid and around 40-45 mill by Milan and City, so why didn't Arsenal sell him there if they wanted the money so bad? Thats right he didn't want to go anywhere, but Barca, so thus he offered to pay if Barcelona and Arsenal couldn't come to an agreement. Cesc value has dropped a lot in 07 he made about 45 apps for Arsenal and after that he made 30 or less due to injury, which dropped his value, so Barca's price for him is justified IMO.

Barca has had already 25 games played and Fab has played only about 8-10 and was out for some due to injury.

Pep was handed down a good team? I agree, but so were the past coaches, but what have they done again with Barca? Pep is probably the most successful coach in Barca history and will always be remember by the world as in the past 3 years Barca have hit Europe with a storm.

Barca and Arsenal don't play the same way. They have there own styles and play.
