In defence of Barcelona it was Fabragas who offered to pay some of the fees for the transfer, so Barcelona accepted it, but will pay him back. The reason why it had to go like this is due to Arsenal rising there fee for Fabregas, which was stupid and Barcelona did the right thing. This saga has been going on for 3 years now, and in the process due to trying to get Fabregas, Barcelona have lost there chances in signing other top players, like last year Ozil was suppose to join Barcelona, but since Barca wanted Fabregas they stalled, but than Madrid captured him and he had a lot of shit to go thru as he was spotted in Barcelona wearing Messi's jersey before joining :O

Barcelona wanted the fee to be lower due to one big reason and that was Fabregas injury problems. This season he has already missed a month or more for Barcelona due to injury. I see it like if I wanted a certain car and it took the guy three years before selling it to me would I buy it for more than I offered before, or even I should buy it for less. Why? simply because the car has put on more mileages and it has maintenance problem. Fabregas was getting no younger has changed and main thing with him is on and off injury, so Barca should've gotten him for cheaper simple. This led to Fabregas paying some fee.

Did Barcelona players have a influence on Fabregas? Nope...Fabregas left Camp Nou with the desire of knowing he would return. Madrid offered 50+M for Fabregas, but the man had his hopes only with Barcelona and wouldn't join any other club, Man City, Inter, and Milan also bid on him.

Barcelona ditched/abandoned Fabregas? I don't know where you guys get this from, but no they didn't, he was simply let go of to further develop himself unless you want clubs to keep all their future talented players in B squad till they think they are ready for first team? Fabregas was 17 still had a long way to go, he moved on to Arsenal to get more playing time with the first team. The management also back than was stupid, if it was Pep, Fabregas wouldn't have gone at all. Thaigo is wanted by many, but Pep knows his importance for Barca thats why he didn't go this season.

CR7 had dreams and hope to play with Madrid, he even left Man U and SaF who made Ronaldo into the man he is today, but just because he had the desire and dream to play for Madrid he left. Cesc had the dream and desire to return to his boyhood club and play for team he has had in his heart all a long, people make it into a crime.

Finically Madrid, City, and Chelsea are up there, but they are also in debt FYI. It doesn't mean people who are in debt can't spend money lol last year Madrid was in about 200-300M debt. However those clubs are better off than most other clubs finically, but still they have debt.

Man u must really have some time at your hands to write this post ,

Anyways

Will you sell messi(Super like) for 25 mill because he wants to play for river plate , and he is willing to pay half his transfer fees ??? (I guess not)

If u wanted fab u should have paid his price ,think of this as a favour form arsenal he still had two years left in his contract he could have gone for double what u paid ..

look at nasri he had only one left, then to man city paid 20 mill upfront for him ...

As for CR7 he was least decent enough to make sure that Man utd get paid enough he wouldnt dare to give a transfer request(which your sodding fab did)

P.s I like pep ,and barca but i hate what they during fab saga ...:p

Euh, that was a technically a "moderate" post. He wrote much much longer than that. And your post lacks much coherence.

First of all, how can you compare Messi and Fab? That makes absolutely no sense. Tell me one thing - what exactly have Fab done in his Arsenal days?

Sorry but neither Fabregas nor Arsenal won any thing in those last years and that's fact. Messi won 2 Ballon D'Or, numerous single awards, 2 CL, and numerous other trophies. Fab's price is already over-hyped. There's a post (in the Debates) where I have a link of how Barca managed to get back Fabregas. It's not a matter of 'not being enough gratitude to pay the whole sum' like you say.

Also, Nasri went because he wants big trophies. For that, you need to get sold to any of the Top 15 clubs. And as ReLax rightfully said, Fab's case wasn't a case of trophies, it was a matter of heart and thus, he always had one club in the line unlike Nasri.

Yes, CR7's case was a bit like Fab (though less intense) but shall we not forget that Ronaldo's price was that high mostly because he was at that time, the Best or atleast 2nd-Best player in the World. That's far far from Fab's case.

So, in a world, where crazy prices are flowing all over, I like too how the 3-year long deal was concluded. You, Arsenal fans, are a bit too ungrateful over Fab. Wenger is a great coach but unlike his great talent at growing players up, he lacks the talent of Mourinho, SAF and Pep to make those players enough passionated to remain devoted to their club.

See, Ronaldo itself, despite his childhood dream to always play for Madrid, he still claims to return one day perhaps to United; given his indulgence towards SAF.

See the likes of Giggs who devoted their whole career.

See the youngsters of the Messia who remain at Barcelone thanks to Pep's guidance.

See the players like Carvalho who follows Mourinho where he goes.

These are players where coaches change their mindset and style. Wenger is a style creator and literally grows players but he lacks the skill to instill that devotion in a player. I'm perhaps the one who most defended his case (on the Base) when they wanted his skin recently after the 8-2...but even I can admit that he got flaws but letting go Fab, the way he did wasn't one. It's the one Fab had his stay at Arsenal that was faulted since Wenger never really controlled Fab with such a point that Fab actually could once think that he might forget Barca and remain at Arsenal. I don't think this ever cross his mind.

I am not paid to write nor i am very good writer , so forgive if my post are not that coherent ....

You think fab price was over hyped (stfu).., he was the best creative midfielder in the EPl , david silva is second best and yet he was still signed for 25 mill..

In a time were players headless chichken(torres) are being sold for 50 mill and you call fab overpriced once again pls (stfu)

and for the love of god dont talk about wenger's talent ,

Pep (HE got bulit team form the day one for the christ's sake , let him manage a another club and we will see about his talent)

Fab was arsenal xavi .....

I dont know which club you support , so let me tell something barca and arsenal play the football the same way.
and i admire them for that .

Fabregas was poached u know it , i know it whole world knows it ....

P.s If u are barca fan , go buy their jersey atleast then they would have some bugdet for transfers ...

Why is there this specific need of most of the members on base to only support the clubs who are successfull ???

If this is the case rest 18 clubs in every league will be left without no fans ...
