i'm gunna go with jiraiya gaiden because he's my favorite charact and his past is epic with him being the chosen one of the naruto series and everyhthing. but don't get me wrong, i've been waiting in agony for kakashi gaiden for like 2.5 years mainly because minato was in it.

Im definitely going with Jiraiya Gaiden because it was more insightful to me and i got to see Myobokuzan in the anime and not just a boring old village. The only thing good about Kakashi Gaiden is seeing the 4th Hokage in action. To top it all, Jaraiya's perspective on life and how things work is way to funny

Jiraya gaiden hands down. Jiraya's past, Sannin in action, Minato and Kushina, land of the frogs, first look at the Rain Orphans and of course the introduction to the almighty Rinnegan and the God all of shinobi, Rikudou Sennin. Plus some awesome new music tracks.

In the Jiraiya special I really liked that you saw Pein and Konan as a child, but in the Kakashi one you had MINAAATO :]

Both: Why? Becouse you finally got to know how the past of them both was. For example I always wondered how kakashi got a sharingan, now i know. And for Jiraiya past I just found it very surprising to see that he was pein's teacher,now I do not read the manga so don't tell me but I can't wait to see What's going to happen when they meet again since Jiraiya is on his way to the akatsuki Leader aka Pein

Jiraiya's just for the main reason that I don't like Kakashi. Either way Jiraiya's gaiden was more emotional for me, but then again that's just me being biased. I don't think I even finished Kakashi's gaiden.
