-Made of wood so they can spawn branches at will.
-Can merge with the ground/trees.
-User can choose the amount of power he focuses into them.
-Have higher battle power than Shadow Clones as stated by DB.
-Can telepathically communicate with the original.
-And like OP said, they don't break/poof in a single hit like every other type of clone.

Wood Clones can literally do everything shadow clones can do, but better and then some. Raiton Clones are cool and all but their only different function from shadow clones is the paralyzing effect, which doesn't affect everyone the same way. The abilities offered by the Wood clone FAR outweigh that. Especially the bolded.

We still dont know yet if Wood clones can transfer chakra/experience like shadow clones did. Also Naruto shadow clones in war arc is far more durable than other shadow clones.

Gunbai is to deflect the jutsu, we still dont know if a wood clones can stand a chance by that kind of power. Even Madara is not even care to fight 5 Hashirama clones

Lel. He used it to slap Naruto so its ability to redirect jutsu is irrelevant. And i suggest you ead the Manga and my post. Hashirama focused most of his power to his main body, making his clones fodder.

No where in the manga say that wood clones can transfer experience and chakra (nature chakra). It can communicate in far distance and able to adjust the power depend on the user's chakra.

They are Shadow Clones w/ the Wood element. So no, they can. Not sure how many times I have to say that. And even if they aren't, they can be cancelled, and when clones are cancelled chakra returns to the user. So let's stop ignoring Manga fact now pls.
