Thanks to you and Owaiji(sorry if I butchered your name x_X) we can now come to a close and definite answer.

The spiritual energy can answer why the Uchiha are better suited for genjutsu.

The physical energy can answer why the senju were better suited for close range combat and being able to survive(sometimes even able to live longer). This may also explain the vast chakra reserves of their distant relatives, the Uzumaki.

what people must understand is their meaning of stamina, it's already been posted that the uchiha has more chakra, BUT thy may not have the body to use that chakra as they would like, while the senju could house lots of chakr because of their body BUT, that doesn't mean that they have lots of chakra, you see how that works?

Good source bro but sometime in Narutoverse Stamina is interchangeable with stamina creating a blur. There one thing thats clear it's the fact that Uchiha have the stronger and better quality of chakra.

lol, no it's not, let me explain again, and I assure you this is the exact way the manga means to use it, let's say that I was extremely strong and muscle bound, does that mean I have lots of stamina? no, of course it doesn't, I could even get tired really fast.

the manga says the uchiha have more chakra, while the senju have better stamina (at least I think it says that, that's what everybody else says), the senju would be better in not tiring out so fast, but can you see how that could trick you into believing that they have more chakra?

Lol yea, Madara said unparalleled Chakra...Not Stamina.their chakra was really powerful, But in that manga senjus and those related to them (uzumakis) were known for their chakra amounts....Part 1 chuunin exam they called Naruto a stamina freak

Unparralled in power maybe? When we say something is unparalled it means that thing is unmatched, without equal. Notice how throughout the manga nothing has been mentioned of the Uchihas chakra capacity but rather its power or the sinister nature of the chakra.

My take on Senju Chakra reserves vs Uchiha chakra potency.

Everyone and their granny knows that whenever someone steals Hashirama's DNA, they get an ocean of chakra, and can use techs that would normally be out of their league, such as when Danzo used Hashirama dna to effectively use Izanagi.

I think Chakra potency is more along the lines of how potent the use of chakra is by the uchiha as individuals, not necessarily meaning that Uchiha chakra gives more bang for buck, but more along the lines of once they learn something, it's almost as if it comes natural, It's how jutsu comes so easy to them, any techs they use are used to the maximum capability.

Note how when one uses an Uchiha implant, it drains there chakra way more than average, because they don't have that Uchiha chakra potency, but when ppl take Senju dna, they get way more chakra than average. It's hard to explain, but it obvious that Senju have very high chakra levels, you'd have to to be a master of all jutsu

This is crazy because we don't have a Senju to base out info on, I mean older Senjus like the 1st and 2nd Hokage who DNA weren't as water down as tsunade's. Madara was known for powerful and sinister chakra and we see edo Madara used to huge meteors bigger than Nagato's without flinching but haven't seen a Senju of the same age use powerful jutsus like that. Edo 1st and 2nd Hokage didnt fight long. Nagato had alot of chakra as an Uzumaki and so do Naruto.

I think I understand where the confusion is now. the uzumaki was related to the senju BUT, they were still different, it's the uzumaki's who possessed the chakra and not the senjus. it can't be assumed that just because A turned out this way, that B must also be this way, meaning that just because it's been said that the uzumaki possess lots of chakra is not grounds to say that senju does also, especially when it hasn't been stated before.

the senju and uchiha were in the same era, but it was the uchiha that was feared for their chakra, stamina only means not tiring out so fast which si part of the physical, but not getting tired doesn't mean that you have mor chakra

Yeah, but stamina in this case would mean chakra, since Kakashi has trouble with just his one sharingan draining his chakra, while Danzo had enough chakra to use Izanagi on demand, and in the fight against Sasuke's sweet Susan, when he used that big tree Hashirama jutsu, his levels plummeted dramatically, I think it all but slaps you in the face when trying to convince us that Senju=A Higher chakra reservoir

Stamina to me is more what's used in Taijutsu. Spiritual is IMO chakra.

Well clearly you guys didn't read any of part 1 manga. They said several times in part 1 that chakra is a combination of your physical and spiritual energy. Everything in the Narutoverse uses chakra, taijutsu, ninjutsu, genjutsu, you name it.

They even went over it again when Naruto did his sage training, as he had to make an equal balance of nature energy into a combination with his physical and spiritual energy.

EDIT: On thread the Senju have far more chakra. Uchihas were noted for having powerful chakra, not large amounts of it. In fact every Uchiha to date has had average or slightly above average chakra levels minus Edo Madara, who it can be argued has that much chakra due to Hashirama's DNA. Every Senju shown has had large amounts of chakra.

danzo didn't have enough chakra, he used the cells to withstand the drainage of chakra. let me explain it this way:

chakra=physical+spiritual

now you guys are saying the stamina is the physical part, I can agree with that. physical and spiritual are needed, I mean what's the point of forming all the spiritual part if the physical(stamina) part can't even hold it. senju was given MORE physical energy, they can withstand lots of chakra drainage, but the uchiha was given MORE chakra, but they can't withstand all the chakra drainage as much as the senju can.

and btw, kakashi was neither nor had any cells, so he had that one coming

the Uchiha ancestor inherited the Sage's "eyes", his powerful chakra and spiritual energy. So to me if you asked which clan has more charka I would say Uchiha.
