Well clearly you guys didn't read any of part 1 manga. They said several times in part 1 that chakra is a combination of your physical and spiritual energy. Everything in the Narutoverse uses chakra, taijutsu, ninjutsu, genjutsu, you name it.
They even went over it again when Naruto did his sage training, as he had to make an equal balance of nature energy into a combination with his physical and spiritual energy.
EDIT: On thread the Senju have far more chakra. Uchihas were noted for having powerful chakra, not large amounts of it. In fact every Uchiha to date has had average or slightly above average chakra levels minus Edo Madara, who it can be argued has that much chakra due to Hashirama's DNA. Every Senju shown has had large amounts of chakra.
every uchiha to date is above average in chakra, and what senju? tsunade is the only one that you can be talking about, naruto is uzumaki, they are related, that is all. It's been said again and again that the uchiha were known for their chakra, and the senju for their body, why can't anyone see that.
tobi again said that madara possessed an exceptional amount of chakra, EVEN for an uchiha.
and you guy's "powerful" definition is arguable, if someone was really strong and tried to go against another really strong person, somebody could say, "don't, when it comes to strength, he's more POWERFUL".
the Uchiha ancestor inherited the Sage's "eyes", his powerful chakra and spiritual energy. So to me if you asked which clan has more charka I would say Uchiha.

danzo didn't have enough chakra, he used the cells to withstand the drainage of chakra. let me explain it this way:
chakra=physical+spiritual
now you guys are saying the stamina is the physical part, I can agree with that. physical and spiritual are needed, I mean what's the point of forming all the spiritual part if the physical(stamina) part can't even hold it. senju was given MORE physical energy, they can withstand lots of chakra drainage, but the uchiha was given MORE chakra, but they can't withstand all the chakra drainage as much as the senju can.
and btw, kakashi was neither nor had any cells, so he had that one coming

let me explain this way, the s06p, he housed the 10-tails, what if someone who didn't have his body tried that, it would have killed them. because they didn't have the body or physical energy to withstand the amount of chakra it put on the body. now let's say someone like him switching all his chakra for a chakra on the level of let's say....oro. do you think he's ever going get exhausted from using that level of chakra, or using kakashi's thousand jutsus, HECK NO!
he has the body or physical energy but yet the chakra level of oro, just because he doesn't get tired doesn't mean he has more chakra than J-man ro itachi or something, see what I mean?

Ok , Earlier we went over Physical energy, the energy needed to do daily taks, But what mental energy is, Is the drive to go on, The drive to do those tasks... You may have the body neccesary for hard tedious work, but if you can't push yourself to do that work, it all becomes basically useless...
Not only that but mental energy would be essential in many other things, Pain management etc,torture, etc...
Why can a uchiha survive and break tsukomi? Itachi said himself only someone with Uchiha blood would be able to break it....Kakashi a non uchiha couldn't and went uncoincous for 2 weeks....It's greatly hinted that when it comes to mental prowess uchiha rise above everyone else....

In Naruto they combine both Mental and Physical to make - Chakra.....The mental aspect like humanwise, grows while you train.....Lets say You just started exercising .. and your absolute limit, no matter how much you push yourself, is 4 hours of exercise ......Overtime, That 4 hours grows, little by little....
The physical aspect is what defines how long you can go for, and that grows as you grow...As a child, you may have energy but its limited to how small your body is....You won't be able to out last a fit adult in a long race....(not saying the child can't be faster) If using both Physical and Mental energy allowed Person A to last 4 hours of exercise, The same person A who's capabilities is 4 hours, If he was to use The same amount of physical output, and less Mental output/Drive , He would possibly only last 2 hours of exercise....
Iv'e rambled on , possibly to no avail , but try to understand Senju got the vitality , stamina to last a long long time.......Their bodies are naturally fit for long tedious work, but You also need ALOT of mental energy to meet that peak , to perform to your fullest capabilities, Your drive to work must meet your Ability to work....

His capabilities with his body(Physical energy) = 4 fire balls + rasengan , when he does that, he's exhausted his body to the absolute limit and dies..When you hit 0 chakra you die
His mental energy....the one that lets him continue fighting...Without it he would have collapsed mentally due to fatigue etc after only 2 fire balls....... Why? because he's weak up their......He has potential to do so much more but can't ......
Without adequate Physical energy , Mental energy is useless,

I believe that if an explanation is this complicated in Naruto, it's probably wrong, but you have your opinion and it's kewl, lets just agree to disagree, although you'd think that if uchiha did indeed have a higher chakra resereves, that Tobi would be implanting Madara dna in ppl instead of Hashirama, but I repsect your opinion.

in your own explanation if one try to use too much, if the mental ability of one is high but yet his physical part is not high enough, he won't last long, BUT that doesn't mean that his mental ability is low.
now, someone with high physical energy naturally last longer, but you tried to trick me my friend xd you put numbers in my head, you said someone will last 4 hours with mental energy and not much physical, but someone with physical will naturally last longer but 2 hours if now much mental energy is involved, I saw that trick, meaning, who's to say how long the person with physical energy can go on for? a low mental energy does not necessarily means that the amount of time he will go on will be short, it just means that with a higher mental energy, he can do better.
thus, when uchiha(high mental, but low physical) is combined with senju(high physical, but low mental), you get an extraordinary person
