Which character(s) has suprised you the most in terms of combat prowess?

Mine would probably have to be Kabuto. When he first got introduced, i didn't see him playing such a big role in the story.
With him surpassing Oro, gaining DSM, perfecting Edo Tensei, all the body modifications...He was (In my opinion) a GREAT villain.

Second would have to be Tobirama. Man, this guy came out of nowhere . His overall knowledge of jutsu, being the creator of a lot of really powerful and prevalent techniques is truly something unexpected.

Madara and Hashirama

people kept calling Hashirama the strongest shinobi, but was dissapointed after seeing him in part 1. Part 2 definitely redeemed himself of that to my surprise.

Madara's meteors, perfect susanoo, rinnegan, and mokuton all caught me by surprise.

This is true, however you must admit that Mokuton was insanely underrated when only Yamato had it, ppl called it weak until flower world rebirth totally turned everything we thought about it on it's head.

And I SOOOOO agree with Tobirama, He's really well rounded.

I remember back in 2012 when Hashi was looked down. Now that he has SM, shit got crazy. Now that I think about it, it'll be funny if Hiruzen pulls out his shit like Hashi did.

Dude, i remember when Hashi had next to no fanboys, and his strongest tech was from part 1, I saw yamato make a seed and track the hotter version of Tsunade known as Samui with it. right then and there I knew that Mokuton was extremely versatile and I even hypothesised that Hashi may have been able to create poisons and allergic reaction inducing pollen and crap like that, after Maddy used flower world rebirth everyone just hopped on the guys nutz, almost to the point of making me hate the guy, almost.

And yea Hiruzen needs some kind of mode, I did for a while think he was gonna pull SM out when 4 tails proclaimed himself the sage king of apes, I was disappointed when that wasn't the case.
