Ten Ten - Simply someone who is fairly useless at this point in the series.

Sakura - An important character no doubt, but she could provide a reason for Naruto to chase Sasuke down. Would be ammusing to have her die, perhaps on accident by Sasuke and then see the showdown we are dying to see.

Karin, Ino, Choji, Shino, Kiba.. at this point none of them are really viable or interesting.

Sorry dude, their filler episodes. They aren't made by Kishi, therefor someone from Tv Tokyo made it so Konohamaru has them jutsu. He doesn't have shadow shuriken or Ash Jutsu.

Actually in one of the filler episodes konohamaru did that burning ash technique and the shuriken shadow clone technique. All naruto's techniques either involve shadow clones or rasengan. Which to me shouldn't be considered different techniques.
