Which character do you feel sorry for the most?

Mine has to be Itachi for many reasons:

1- He was made to slaughter his entire clan including his parents

2- He was hated by his younger brother whom he loves so much

3- He was used as a scapegoat/sacrifice by Konoha

4- Konoha didn't appreciate him despite what he did for them

5- He is ranked as a wanted criminal

6- He joined an organization just to spy on them and protect Konoha in "the shadows"

7- He let his brother win and purposely schemed his own death

8- He drove Sasuke to the edge in the fight just to rid Sasuke of the cursed seal

9- He basically lived his life selflessly and had to endure all the pain by himself

My Lord Sasuke! He's been through too much for his age! That ass of a brother Itachi tortured him constantly, killed his parents and clan, etc. All praise be to him.

Itachi did have it hard, but the one I sympathise with the most is Haku. Cos he had to go through the pain of his own dad killing his mum and trying to kill him, all at such a young impressionable age and then knowing your only purpose in life is that of an emotionless tool. I know that there are other characters that have gone through more, but watching Haku's story just left more of an impression on me for some reason.

I have to agree. However, many shinobi is placed, somewhat in this situation. Their is no way of saying someone story is sadder because it's impossible; I think. I say that almost every Shinobi has those tragic moments in life and not just one individual.

Tobi's the one who's sick of wars and he's the one who wants peace, the only way he sees peace is through Genjutsu because of his "experience" of war he just knows there won't be peace in a other way and Naruto's talk is just "immature".

Hashirama has done great things like ending wars and stopping Madara from destroying Konoha, hes done more great things which I don't feel like bringing up, and now everyone is pumping this guy's blood like it's oil in the ground, he is even a f*cking plant right now.

Sasuke.

-When he was 8 years old, he lost everyone. The most important person to him, Itachi was the one who made Sasuke's life a living hell. Just a little before the massacre, Sasuke got respect from his father, which makes it even sadder. Sasuke even had to see his Clan getting slaughtered, because of Itachi's Tsukiyomi.

The only thing Sasuke could think about was getting vengeance against his brother and he broke his every bond in order to do that. Finally he gets his long waited revenge, but that made it even worse. It turns out that the reason why Itachi didn't kill Sasuke was because Itachi loved him. Not only that, The Uchiha Clan got killed because of Konoha.
