And the Uchiha remained?! Not good enough... after all they're meant to BOTH be powerful rival clans... If that was the case... we can see who is the strongest of the two... But I've always wanted to see them as equal... but after seeing the power of Madara Sama and I got over my moment of fanboy hype... I can't see how Senju could ever compete!!! I'm not happy about it! xD

Although they were said to be equal. Man for man im sure the uchiha were stronger. Anyway i agree with what narutopedia says because that makes the most sense.

This is further evident in the fact that hashirama a senju married an uzumaki. Therefore they mostly married outside their clan unlike the uchiha and hyugan

Naruto, his dad Minato they are related or indirectly descended from the Senjus. Tobi compared the will of fire of the Senju to that he said was in Hashirama to Naruto for a reason.

But i think the clan probly lost a lot of members in the 2nd and 3rd Great ninja world wars after which the survivors mixed with the other clans.

Right... Maybe I missed something... But like you know... Naruto has mostly been Uchiha this, Uchiha that!

Besides Hashirama we never hear anything about the awesomeness that is Senju...

Now forgive me if I'm wrong... But last time I checked it was the Uchiha and Uzumaki that were practically wiped out... NOT the Senju... So where the hell are they all... Tsunade?! Is that it?! This most powerful and feared of clans just vanished off the face of the earth?!

Tsunade is the last known Senju the youngest Member of the clan He brother was kill in the last war along with the rest of the Senju and the Uzumaki were not wiped out they were scattered to the 4 conners of the world so that their in hiding like Nagato's parent were.

unlike the uchiha, aburame, akimichi hyuuga etc, the senju didn't specialise in one particular skill, they were masters of all skills, and dispersed into smaller clans.

that's actualy a good question, only relative alive that we know of is tsunade, but there have to be more since the village was originaly made up of uchiha and senju, I suppose the other konoha clans like the aburame, and yamanaka to mention just a couple were added later or developed during it's existance. perhaps the senju evolved into these clans or simply became less remarkable because of these other clans
