[Discussion] Where're all the Senju at?!

Right... Maybe I missed something... But like you know... Naruto has mostly been Uchiha this, Uchiha that!

Besides Hashirama we never hear anything about the awesomeness that is Senju...

Now forgive me if I'm wrong... But last time I checked it was the Uchiha and Uzumaki that were practically wiped out... NOT the Senju... So where the hell are they all... Tsunade?! Is that it?! This most powerful and feared of clans just vanished off the face of the earth?!

They dispersed and got it on with non senju where as the uchiha kept stuff within the clan

As you say... It needs to be cleared up... Can't base a series around two uber powerful groups/families and only delve into the fate of only one... The Senju have been praised in the series for they awesome skills... yet what have we seen? Uchiha this, Uchiha that!

I know to look at me... I seem like an Uchiha fan... and you'd be right... But really I want to be a fan of the rivalry between Uchiha and Senju... but we don't really have much Senju lore to go on... I really hope Kishi clears this issue up... as much as I enjoy his work... I find this plothole really stpid and unprofessional! =_=

I gotta agree with him on this one^^^
I think the real Senju clan died off, and the Senju blood does still live on in a way. Unlike the Uchiha it was never said they were strict with marriage and kept it in the clan. So maybe the blood got dispersed into other clans say the Uzumaki and other's. Then all it would take is for all the males to that have the Senju name to not make any males that made it to the age of maturity where they would usually have kid's.
Any family name can be wiped off the map through generation's of marriage females don't retain they're family name through the process only a male would.
So as stated before if they got married to other clan's that wouod eliminate a lot of potential true senju. Also if they were to be producing mostly daughters and seeing as a lot of the males could die young through missions or something. I would say they most likely dispersed and married other clans.
Thus thining out the Senju blood.
IDK just a though. U_U I had more but forgot I am a little preoccupied artm.

And the Uchiha remained?! Not good enough... after all they're meant to BOTH be powerful rival clans... If that was the case... we can see who is the strongest of the two... But I've always wanted to see them as equal... but after seeing the power of Madara Sama and I got over my moment of fanboy hype... I can't see how Senju could ever compete!!! I'm not happy about it! xD

It is unknown if the Senju clan still exists as an organisation since there are no known persons with the Senju name alive, although the Fifth Hokage, Tsunade, might have the Senju surname. It is very possible that the Senju clan disbanded into smaller clans and families, especially since they never had specific traits or techniques like the Uchiha or Hyūga clans with which to easily identify them.

Very good thought at that... I was thinking for a wild moment that women in Naruto get as much opportunity to die on missions as men! =_=

I did wonder if there was a disproportionate amount of women to men in the Senju clan... and the Uchiha DO come across as pure elitists so I cold imagine they would want to stay more insular as a clan... However... again if the males of Senju died on alot of missions... as would the Uchiha... So their numbers should still have been less than they were before the genocide!

Hmm... again seems like a theory more than anything... No specific traits... so really how good were the Senju... what made them so special? Just bottomless pits of chakra?! The Uzumaki were feared for their Sealing Jutsu... The Uchiha for their Sharingans... The Senju were feared for what exactly? Beefed up bodies?! Seems abit vague to me...

They were just a clan of shinobi with different kg's. Since nobody knew what abilities to expect from each of them, they were feared.

Seems more like they were a unified Clan with no specific traits, but i would like to know more about them at least Hashirama since he is the most talked about along with Tobirama...who btw did he have offspring, did hashirama? forgive me if thats already out there
