where is rin?? = also kushina uzumaki

I'll be polite and say that Rin is pretty much confirmed dead as Kakashi has repeatedly said that he has lost the people closest to him and Kushina is most likely dead as there's hasn't been any hints that she's survived after Naruto's birth/nine-tails extracted into him.

hey, i don't think Rin is dead,as we saw in gaiden after obito died Rin was so depressed, i think she just left these all ninja things,and that's why kakashi says he was not able to save Rin.
see chapter 8th & 9th of 139 their is Rin alive and well taking with kakashi

I can go with the Rin deal but Kushina has not been confirmed only pressumed dead there is still a chance that she could be alive. But Rin seems more likely than dead as Kakashi does speak of all his past commrades in the dead or past tenses thats about it not Kushina though thier is no proof yet!!

There could be a number of reasons. My guess is that Kushina has something to do with the future of Naruto maybe a jutsu she has held on to for him or for the sake of giving a little background info on Naruto's parents. The possibilites are endless but one thing is for sure and that is that nowhere in the manga or anime do they ever confirm Kushina dead so who knows she could be somewhere thinking nothing of the situation because of a Genjutsu or something lol like I said many things could be but it is all up to Kishimoto.

Kushina may be under the impression Naruto is dead or she is under a Genjutsu or was specifically waiting to meet when the circumstances were dire not that they havn't been but who knows. Kushina probably holds the key to a lot of info revealing some heavy stuff about Madara and Naruto and Minato like I was saying earlier it coould anything but this is all speculation.
What Floppy said. Plus just before he got killed by Deva Realm, he said something to the effect that he would be meeting Obito and Rin.
I don't buy that she is alive. It's a poor choice if she's been alive all this time. Naruto has her surname, she's named him and the people of Konoha who knew exactly who Naruto was and that he was the host. So it's common knowledge within Konoha and 16 years w/o it getting out and reaching her is a bit far fetched. We presume as the Hokage's wife that she lived in Konoha so if she survived then she would surely would have found out afterwards. Even if she visited once, then she could've found out. None of the people who knew her the closest talked as if she was still alive. It'd seem incredibly weak but she could reappear like Minato did in Naruto's memory. Perhaps in a critical moment like Harry Potter's parents appearing to help him/urge him on etc.

The only reason that I can think of as to why she hasn't been confirmed dead yet is because she still has a role to play in the manga.
I have a feeling that Naruto will meet up with her sometime in the future.

i don't know if Kushina is dead or not but i do think there is a reason why kishi rarely talk's about her it feel's like to me he want's us to pay attention to Minato and not Kushina sorta like sleight of hand you know pay attention to my right hand while my left hand smack's you in the face

I have my doubt's about Kushina being dead, I don't really thinks she's dead but that could just be because i don't really want her to be dead ...Oh but about Rin, well Rin is most likely dead due to the fact that Kakashi stated that everyone close to him had passed away so this probably implies rin as well

Minato sealed the nine tails on that same night before dying so that Naruto could use the power and stop Madara from using it again. I guessing that the reason we haven't seen anything is so that Kishi can use this potential strong flashback during or before the final fights with Madara.

Sometimes women have those complications and it could've have happened on the same night. Naruto had to have been near the battlefield which seemed to be on the outskirts of Konoha. We know that every ninja was sent to deal with the Kyuubi before the 4th arrived. So if it was day or two after it's possible she participated and died during that fight which led Minato to do the unthinkable and seal the nine tails in his child. This is all guesswork on how she could have died then but my main argument was that no one close has even hinted that she was alive anywhere else and that her absence won't make much sense. Jiraiya and Tsunade talk like she was a long lost memory etc.
