Personally, i see Kisame as a monster fighter, but lacking when fighting more subtle fighters such as minato and itachi. His biggest claim to fame is samehada's ability to steal chakra, but without a massive construct of chakra such as a tailed beast cloak, i can see his other skills being overcome.

I somewhat agree. However his power doesn't solely rely on him stealing others chakra via samahada. He did quite fine against Gai without Samahada, unfortunately Gai is just his worst match up possible.

Sasuke shouldn't beat in the Top 10, I'm sorry. Kisame is 7 or 8, maybe 9.

He really is top 10 I was I wasn't on my phone. he is capable if beating Itachi minato and Sasuke more than not Ill place him 10-7. If people knew his power more would see it too. Natural has massive chakra and can absorb chakra without samehada. great shark bullet 1000sharks water dome, and fusion mode possiblities are endless.

He unfortunately doesn't possess the speed to dodge amaterasu. That's why I placed them before him. If amaterasu wasn't a factor, I'd completely agree with you.

Manga proves otherwise. If Gaara was as smart as Minato, he would've moved locations to fight much like what Minato did. GG to Deidara for keeping Gaara pinned down and worrying about the village as well as their fight.

And no, I don't want to debate. Like I said, it's a personal opinion. Some say Gaara > Deidara (you), and some say Deidara > Gaara (me). I could see their fight going both ways, assuming there's no village to protect in the meantime. But, I do think Deidara could possibly beat more people on a Top 10 list than Gaara.

Samehada did grown against Itachi's Katon you're correct. Nonetheless it did absorb the center of the flame. So at the end of the day, Samehada got the job done, and proved Chakra is inferior within its presence.

Amaterasu is chakra; The Mangekyou Sharingan is held within the eye sockets, the eye sockets, along with many other areas have chakra points, or tenketsu. When an Uchiha concentrates their chakra to perform Amaterasu chakra from their stomach is transferred into their eye sockets. When this chakra builds up, the pressure is to great causing their eye to bleed; Amaterasu is released.

Samahada transmits chakra to Kisame in order to disturb his chakra flow to break him out of any genjutsu. Also, Kisame infused with Samahada can sense chakra so he should be able to locate the clam.

The same can be said about Nidaimes suiton. His FTG slash accomplishes nothing with Samahada healing.

I just don't find it plausible Samahada will absorb Amaterasu given it's hype to be as hot as the sun which I understand is hyperbole, but still implies it a lot hotter then a mere Fire Ball Jutsu.

Hell naw. With what exactly? FTG is ineffective when his kunais are on the bottom of the lake. Rasengan isn't taken Kisame out either given his healing abilites as well as his durability shown when he tanked Hirudora.
