There was a Naruto debate tournament. We posted our threads, which pit 2 people to debate against one another with 2 characters, in the VS section since that seemed to be the best option. However, the threads were taken down. Now Ira, the mod that did this, only stated that she closed the thread because people were spamming it and that we should do it in our private group. The problem is that the group's private and she had no mind to tell us a puplic section to post the arguments. Any complaints we gave out to staff members were taken negatively and were treated as if they're immature, unfounded, or interfering with the mods job(though I don't get how that'd be.)

However, all we want is the ability to post these threads in a public section. If there's any mod out there who support intelligent debates observable to the general public, please give us instructions. We wouldn't be giving out complaints if mods worked with us to do this instead of closing threads and leaving it at that. Help us do this the right way so there won't be any more conflicts like this. If there's no section where it's allowed, please make a debate section on the behalf of those who enjoy using logic.

Making such unsupported claims will not prove to be beneficial for your cause. I suggest you refrain from making such statements- especially when they are in itself insulting the staff. Should you truly have a problem with a staff member then take the appropriate measures to handle it as outlined in this post here:

Should you want to discuss this situation further, PM me.

In your social group.

Any contest or tournament cannot be held in any forums accept in the sections officially made for it. Personal tournaments organized by users can be held in social groups. After saying the same thing over 30 times in last three days one would think you would understand it.

If you enjoy debating the manga characters that should be good enough. If you just want to show off your skills then the regular threads with regular discussions where anyone can participate works just fine. You should be posting with your full skills in any thread you participate.

Stop making threads and sending dozens of PMs for a mod ruling. We implement rules as we deem fit and we follow the guidelines and rules set by admin. If you have a problem and think that a mod ruling is not enough ask an admin. Rei is in charge of contests. But another thread anywhere about it will get infracted. I warned you before but some of you just cannot stop arguments.
