Naruto tied his headband to his left ankle, and Sasuke's headband to his right ankle, and then pulled his pant legs down over both of them. He surveyed the room to make sure he had everything they came with (which was almost nothing), and then ran out of the room with ninja speed back down to the lobby, where Kakashi was waiting for him.
"There you are, Naruto," Kakashi said as Naruto sat down in a chair.
"Yeah, I just had to get something."
"Alright," Kakashi stood from his own chair. "Let's go."
Naruto stood up reluctantly from his comfy chair. "Where are we going?" he asked.
"Just come with me." Kakashi led Naruto to the front desk. "We're checking out now," he said to the manager.
"I see... Your names?"
"Naruto Uzumaki and Kakashi Hatake. They're japanese."
"Alright, just give me a second... And everything's set. May I have your room keys?"
"Here's mine..." Kakashi handed the man a small plastic card. "Naruto, give him your room key."
"I think I left it in the room; just give me a second." Naruto ran back up the flights of stairs to their room, only to find that the door was locked.
"Drats!" he said. He looked at the lock, and it didn't look like wind chakra would do it this time. Then he remembered his the door stayed shut. "If I did it once..." he said to himself.
Naruto held his hand by the latch and lock of the door, and focused his wind chakra into it. His wind chakra pushed back the latch and lock and the door swung open.
"Excuse me, sir," the maid said as she was pushing a cart by. "Do you have your card key?"
"Yes," Naruto lied. "If I didn't have it, how would I be able to get in?"
"I suppose..." the maid began.
"Right. So, I'll just grab what I need, and then I'll be out of here, alright?"
Naruto walked into the room, grabbed his card key from the desk the T.V. sat on, and was about to leave when something caught his eye. A small foot was sticking out from under one of the beds. Naruto bent down to pick it up, and discovered it was a little plastic toy. A toy that looked familliar.
After locking the door, Naruto raced back down to Kakashi.
"Here's my card key," Naruto said, putting the piece of plastic on the manager's desk.
"Thank you," the manager said. "You two are free to go, now."
"Thank you," Kakashi said. Kakashi led Naruto around to the back of the hotel.
"What are we doing here?" Naruto asked.
"Hiding," Kakashi said, weaving handseals. Kakashi slammed his hand on the ground and a seal spread out from under it, but nothing else happened.
"Ummm... Kakashi-sensei? What were you-"
"Summoning's don't work in this world, I suppose," Kakashi said, cutting Naruto off.
"WHAT!?!? No way!" Naruto bit his thumb and wove handseals, slamming his hand on the ground as he finished. Another, simmilar seal appeared on the ground, but other than that, nothing happened, just like with Kakashi's summoning.
"I thought I could just use my ninja hounds to find Sasuke and Madara, but appearently you can't summon here."
Naruto stood in silence, wondering how they would ever find Sasuke again. Then he smashed his fist into the ground.
"It should've been me..." he said quietly.
"What?" Kakashi asked.
"I said it should've been me!" Naruto yelled at Kakashi. "Nobody cared about the nine-tailed host; they all ran away from me! I should be the missing-nin, not Sasuke! People actually cared about the last Uchiha; if I were the missing-nin, I would've been killed already and no one would be in this mess!"
"Naruto, don't talk like that-!"
"BUT YOU KNOW IT'S TRUE!!! If I had ran away from the village, Lady Tsunade would've ordered me a missing-nin and had me executed before the Akatsuki could get to me! Sasuke would be the hero of the leaf, and I would be that kid who had his funeral celebrated-!"
"NARUTO, ENOUGH!!" Kakashi yelled at Naruto. "You don't acutally think like that; you're just upset that we can't find Sasuke!"
"NO!" Naruto's yellow Kyuubi cloak made a flash appearance as he shouted back at Kakashi, disappearing almost as fast as it had come, but his eyes remained fox-like, and his whiskers were still intensified. "This is how I really think! I should be the one all of the villages want to kill; Sasuke should be the leaf's hero! It isn't FAIR!!!" Naruto punched the ground again, this time his Kyuubi chakra leaving a small crater in the earth. And this time, the Kyuubi chakra didn't just disappear from around his fist, but instead, it spread around his body.
"Maybe you can't find Sasuke..." Naruto's cloak became fully formed, and he looked more fox-like than he ever had before. "but I can!" Naruto fell to all fours and sprinted down the dirt road by the hotel, the force of his movements so powerful that it turned a car ninty degrees as it drove down the road.
"Naruto...!" Kakashi began as Naruto sped away. "Don't do anything stupid."
Sasuke and Madara appeared just outside the Ramada hotel.
"Is this were they are?" Sasuke asked.
"The Kyuubi chakra resides around this area; if they aren't here, then he's recently left some chakra around."
"I see..." Madara and Sasuke walked into the building as Kakashi walked around from the back.
Where could those two be? he asked himself. And where did Naurto go? Looks like I have to decide if Madara's Sage of Six Path powers are more destructive to this town then Naruto in fox-mode... Kakashi took off with ninja speed, searching for the hospital to speak with his senior office Georgeson before looking for Naruto.
"Hello, kind sir," Madara said to the manager of the hotel.
"May I help you, sir?" the manager asked.
"Acutally, my grandson and I were looking for some people we heard were staying at this hotel. Naruto Uzumaki and Kakashi Hatake?"
"They just checked out this morning, sir," the manager said.
"I see..." The man began to float in the air by Madara's rinnegan, and Sasuke almost immediatly put everyone in the lobby under a genjutsu so they couldn't see it.
"Tell me where they went!" Madara said to the manager.
"I- I don't know!" the manager said, clawing at his throat as if someone were choaking him.
"Don't lie to us!" Sasuke said, leaping onto the desk, holding a kunai to the man's throat. "Wierd-looking kid with blond hair, wears tight pants and a loose shirt. Stange man wearing a flak jacket, a bandana over his left eye and a mask covering the bottom half of his face. Where are they?"
"They left this morning and they didn't say where they were going, honestly! Now let me go!"
"Alright..." Madara pushed the manager into the wall behind him, and Sasuke released the genjutsu with a cloud of Amatratsu.
The lobby went up in screams and black flames, and Sasuke and Madara teleported out of there before the flames spread to them. The hotel went up in flames quickly, and then burnt down to a crisp.
"Well, that wasn't very helpful," Sasuke said.
"No, it wasn't-" Madara began, looking across the rubble, through the smoke, and right at an odd sight.
"What is it?" Sasuke asked. As the smoke cleared, they could both easily see, a group of ninja hounds.
"Are those Kakashi's?" Madara asked.
"Looks about right," Sasuke replied.
"Then he must be around here somewhere..." The dogs growled and ran across the rubble, ready to maul the Uchiha.
Madara laughed. "Really?" He sent the dogs flying through the air with his rinnegan, but the didn't go far.
"Is that-?" Sasuke asked.
"Gamabunta..." Madara finished. The giant toad loomed over Sasuke and Madara, stopping the dogs flight safely.
"Naruto must be around here, eh?" Madara said.
"Yeah..." Sasuke replied.
Gamabunta rubbed his head. That was the longest summoning distance EVER, he thought to himself. Where's Naruto? Gamabunta looked down to see Madara and Sasuke.
"You..." Gamabunta said, pointing with his sword at Madara. "You're the reason Minato is dead... I actually liked Minato. Now, you will DIE!"
Gamabunta lunged at Madara, his sword going straight through him.
"Sticking with the same cheap tricks, I see?"
As Madara was about to reply, Sasuke yelled, "The dogs!"
Madara turned to see the ninja dogs trying to run up to him.
"You take care of the hounds, Sasuke," Madara said. "Ol' frog legs here is mine!" Madara ran up Gamabunta's sword, and when Gama tried to shake Madara off, Madara phased through, grabbing onto the sword before he fell.
"Face it, Gama," Madara said, pushing him back with much force of the rinnegan. "You're done."
As Gamabunta flew backwards, he did a backflip and spat out a large stream of oil, scraping his sword across the ground as he skidded, creating a large spark. The spark ignited the stream of oil, which Gamabunta was still spitting at Madara.
It's too late to teleport, Madara thought, I'll just be burned alive by the flames when I'm tangable. And I can't just phase through it, not if he's going to keep spitting it at me. I can't be intangable for that long-
The flames sped straight through Madara, as he phased through them.
"Sasuke!" Madara called. "You have five minutes to stop him or I'll die!"
"What about the Sage of Six Path powers?" Sasuke said, slashing one of the dogs in the head with his katana.
"Go ahead and try," Gamabunta said. "I'm not scared!"
"Just do it!" Madara yelled at Sasuke. I'm not even sure if I have those powers; I think I was jipped!
Sasuke sent all of the dogs back to their place with a Chidori Stream, and then ran at Gamabunta.
"Not so fast," Gama said, swining his sword at Sasuke. Sasuke teleported before the sword could cut him, and appeared behind Gamabunta's head.
"Amatratsu!" The black flames engulfed the back of Gamabunta's head, forcing him to retreat back to Mt. Myobaku.
"Are you alright, Madara?" Sasuke said.
"Of course I'm alright," Madara said, not a scratch on him. "But it seems that Naruto and Kakashi are not here; they would've interviened otherwise."
"So, they summoned them and just left?"
"No, since we're in a different dimension, it may take some time for summons to come from their dimension to ours. They obviously tried to summon, but then left before the summons arrived."
"And then we showed up and had to fight the summons..." Sasuke finished. "I see."
"Now, we have to find Naruto, and fast." Madara and Sasuke teleported away from the rubble and news cameras watching the events.
What will become of the ninja fight footage? What was the toy Naruto picked up? How will officer Georgeson react to Kakashi's news? How will Kakashi present the news? Where has Naruto gone? Why does Madara want Naruto so bad? You're guess is as good as mine! Until next time, this is the 'Dork, signing off!
