How do far you think science will take us, before we mo longer need it? Science does have a limit in theory, so when will we have so much knowledge about the word that we no longer need it.

Science will always continue on because there will always be questions that need answering.

When humans go extinct.

Quite literally everything that exists in the modern world is an application of science. Science is our tool to explain reality. There's no chance of us answering every question. There's no chance of us asking every question.

In fact, humans are relying more and more on science as time goes on.

I believe that at some point in the future a phenomenon will occur that insights a revolution of social enlightenment that cannot currently be fathomed that will cause many advanced principles in science to fall into a category of extremely patent principles. Even then science will be important as it is the basis of nearly every thing that humans understand in the modern world, and therefor will remain as a large portion of the facts that humans feel are undoubtable.

When humanity no longer exist. We will always strive for more and more, and there's always going to be more to obtain. There's never a satisfaction. Hell, in the late 1800 and early 1900s, we thought we reached the pinnacle of what humanity can do, and in a hundred years since then, look at how far we've come. We've still got a long, LONG ways to go I'm sure.

To those who are saying that science depends on human existence, and Idea came to me.

Under general definitions, is it not possible for all sentient life to perform science in some shape or form? (In more primitive forms)

Of course, but the question is regarding science's usefulness to us. When humanity is extinct, it will no longer be useful to our race. That's not to say it won't be useful to an evolved dolphin or another primate species.

I suspect only those with certain intelligence can.
