Look here, Minato's face was already on the statue, that means that he was already Hokage during the war. Kind of doesn't make sense for the Hokage to be on the battlefield when he should be directing troops. But then again, when he wiped out that platoon of enemy ninjas Minato's comrades did not address him as Hokage????????

What's to question? It's obvious that he is not Hokage at the time of this chapter, in part due to the Third Hokage still wearing the outfit. You post the pictures and still don't pay attention. He was likely made Hokage either not long after this or shortly before the attack on Konaha.

.....You don't get your face carved into the statue until after you've been made Hokage. Your the one not making sense. Why would a Jonin get to have his face carved in a statue and not get the Hokage title until years later?The Third Hokage is still the Third Hokage, he can wear that whenever he wants.:flaw:

Even in this Minato vs Kakashi OVA we can clearly see the Hokage monument at the beginning and Minato's face is no where to be found. And this was after the chunin exams.
