When Sasuke finds out the truth!

He will eventually turn against Obito and try to kill him. Maybe he will notice that Naruto and Itachi were always honest with him and wanted his best but he will be too stubborn to be friends with Naruto again. So he will just fight Obito, say **** it and go away.

This is a gripe I have with Kishi's portrayal of Sasuke, it's as if he doesn't even know what to do with the character, and it's incredibly annoying.

It's like he has this idea for Sasuke, then it switches, and he goes back and alters it. Then he moves in this direction, then right after, he changes his mind again. Ah, Kishi...

Whilst I like Sasuke, there are several things he's done that make want to facepalm and cringe while I'm at it.

Particularly, this revenge sh!te is quite bogus now. It's like Kishi can't clearly make Sasuke an antagonist, because he wants to redeem him in the end. So he ends up being a terrible mix of arrogant douche, who's sometimes nice and sensible but who's condescending and clinically insane. Also I think it's part due to Sasuke's lack of panel time so it's difficult to develop his character when he barely features.

I really do prefer Hebi Sasuke. Kishi is ruining one of his feature characters.

You need to read post number 7 again and understand exactly what I'm trying to say before you question my intelligence. Did Sasuke not question his own motives? Is he not seeking enlightenment, the kind that no other character has ever been known to seek? He did and he is. So what the F are you talking about?

saying that he questioned his belief is not right when he say that he is NOT stoping his plan and his haterd towards konoha grew more than ever. now the only thing that MIGHT back up you claim (of him questioning his motives) is the journey BUT am telling you that you don't know why or what is he looking for there (no one does), what does he wana ask the ONE THAT KNOWS ALL ?? but looking at his respond when oro asked him "your not sure about taking revenge", it has nothing to do with his destroying konoha plan (since he is convinced about his haterd to konoha) and replied with "NO". what he is looking for probably has nothing to do with the leaf or what happened there ....

actually i understand this character lol (but i don't like it), he wants revenge at least at this point coz of people (even if they are innocent and act depending on the wrong image that they got about itachi, the info given to them) they still look at itachi as he is scum and sasuke is not thinking straight and refuses to consider anything that is said to him. he just see that they made itachi's life difficult and spit on his grave and that is it, so he will go kill them lol

It is happening right now, Obito is the reincarnation of the older, who is trying to achieve peace through power. Naruto is obviously the younger. Obito doesn't even know that the reason he wanted to make Naruto and Sasuke fight, the destined battle, is already taking place. For the same cause it did in the beginning.

It is highly logical for Sasuke to take this path. Kishimoto is a genius!

I've posted that many times but it's hard like hell here to get people to read your posts. When they actually do, they are 'mind-blown'.

Anyway, I agree and always believed the destinied battle isn's Sasuke vs Naruto but Obito vs Naruto. The young man with the power in his eyes is not meant to be Sasuke so we might never see a final showdown between them.

Part of his motivations don't make sense anymore:

Before he cared about his comrades but then he kills Zetsu, not only that but he continues on to kill the Zetsu clones unsparingly

So he's not affiliated with anyone, right?
No.
Because he then refrains from killing Konoha shinobi because he made a promise to Naruto, but I thought he despised them and he didn't consider Naruto an equal.

Then he sets off to join Naruto to fight him, heading to where Shinobi Alliacne was running.

Then suddenly he goes off with Itachi, he hears about his viewpoints and about Shisui's ideals, after all of that, he proclaims that he despises Konoha even more, but then right after he wants to understand his brothers feelings. That doesn't make any sense, he is questioning his identity but not his motivations and their grounds. What?
Not only that but he reunites with Taka (who he had discarded earlier) and now wants to team up with them? Even after making it clear that his teammates were expendable. So now what? He cares for them again?

I don't even know who he wants to fight and why he wants to fight them anymore. I don't know who cares for and who he doesn't care for or who he's willing to kill. I don't even know where he's headed.

Because Kabuto was near, or in the same hideout that Sasuke was in, that's why Itachi was heading in that direction.

I disagree, Sasuke and Naruto are clearly rivals here.
They have likeness to Orochimaru and Jiraiya
Their first fight occured at the Valley of the End (Madara vs Hashirama)
Sasuke has Uchiha lineage (co-founders of Konoha), Naruto has hokage lineage (4th Hokage...)
They're both related to the Sage,
It's Eyes vs Bijuu
etc.

They're the ultimate rivals, they've always been destined to fight each other.
