Zabuza has so many fans because zabuza is one of most badass ninja in whole series.
They got it but it doesn't belong to them.
It's similar as one student that studied hard and scored 70% while other 2 students didn't study anything and passed exams scoring 100% by cheating or by having test papers before going to exam.

Go review zabuza abilities in narutowiki.com and you will find that you underrate him greatly.

I dont think he could sasuke tho but with no curse mark, probably but he has the sharingan and he lost to kakashi with it. But sage mode Naruto would completly break zabuzas face. He could snap his sword in half if he wanted to. So i agree zabuza beats base naruto amd sasuke. But not sage mode Naruto and sharingan sasuke.
