When it comes to jutsu's what is better...Quality or Quantity.
What I mean by this is ...

Quality: Someone who has no more then 2-3 main jutsu's but are deadly and very effective.
For example... Minato- FTG, and Rasengan those are the two he uses the most but are very powerful. Both are S-rank.

Quantity: Someone who has a lot of jutsu's.
For example... Hiruzen- Said to have known all the village jutsu's...so simple to say he knows a lot.

Don't say both though,
Just pick one of the two choices.

I personally perfer a shinobi that has a long list of jutsu's then just a few strong ones. Works better for fight scenario's in my opinion.

Quality is only slightly more important. Without at least some quantity, you become a one trick pony and lose the unpredictability that can put you ahead in a battle

I want to say quality but every jutsu has a weakness, and if you only have two or three and the counters are known/found out, you are put at a disadvantage. But if you have a wide range of jutsu, it's harder to counter all of them and leaves the user at an advantage because they'll be able to counter the enemy more flexibly.

If you had FTG and amaterasu (Minato) and he's a sensor type ninja thats the fastest with the same speed of reaction time as his normal speed and was complemented with his nickname without using FTG then could his amaterasu be faster than his FTG? hmm

See look at my signature.

I think quantity, for example, if you thought someone who has 2 or 3 high quality Jutsu and uses them really well, if u keep away from them. U can learn what they intend to do with that Jutsu, then no matter how many times they try to hit you with said jutsus, you can just dodge..

Then YOU, the user with 100 + Jutsu has the element of surprise, cos your opponent doesn't know you have over 100 Jutsu and won't be able to keep up, even if the jutsus your using are really bad.:yay:
