When did Naruto start to go downhill?

After Tobi was revealed as Obito. The fourth ninja war saga was a huge letdown, it did have it's good moments but overall it was disappointing. I'm just waiting for the final battle between Naruto & Sasuke to be animated and Naruto gaiden since I never read it yet.

Looking back on the story now, Id say beginning of Part 2, everything was jsut dragged out for so long and old storylines and characters were forgotten.
While reading, I think I the moment I felt it really going down hill was Tobi's reveal. Or maybe when Sasuke decided to destory the leave and change his groups name to Taka or whatever.

I like it. The power scaling doesn't bother me, although I would love to see more hand to hand combat mixed with ninja weapons.

The series was already hinted to go downhill after Pain Arc, but it was still going good and would be if done properly. In my opinion, the true downfall of the series started when Obito declared the war. It got worse and worse after that going through the fights in the war, the Edo Tensei stuff, and JJ Obito. And turned into sh*t at the point when Naruto and Sasuke gained Rikodou powers and complete sh*t when BZ turned Madara into Kaguya.

after the juubi was revived.Personally I thought the obito/tobi thing wasn't that bad as it gave kakashi, naruto and sasukes characters more depth and allows you to appreciate how solitude affects different characters in unique ways

I know I am stepping on a lot of toes here but the zabuza arc was shit! it took me over a week just to get through those 18 or so episodes when I re-watched part 1

I respect and appreciate the entire story.

It lost me after Obito's defeat. Got good again with Naruto VS Sasuke - Boruto. LOVED all of that, Kaguya & Madara bug me.

I think Black Zetsu's creation of Ninja hatred could've worked just as well with Obito Uchiha.

It was after the Pain arc deff. The power range for all charachters just went thrue the roof, the power limit shpuld have staid like that, we would see more taijutsu figts and more action than just one hit justsus like we normaly see.

Yo the pein arc was great but the whole hand to hand combat was s###. I think it should have ended with team 7 vs jj madara with assume sacrificing HIMSELF for naruto... Then giving him his rinnegan to defeat madara

Everybody wanted the manga to end with Madara or Pain? Jesus guys i'd like you to see you deliver a satisfying ending with either of those 2.
