My fear is that a scenario of Madara asking Kabuto to have Nagato sync with Gedo Mazo and on his command have Itachi use Tsukiyomi on the moon. Of course, this is then followed by the great betrayal when Madara is weak and in the middle of becoming the Juubi Jinchuuriki. That's what I'm afraid of.
I assume Madara's body is fine. He's currently a shell of his former self, and possibly no EMS, but if he becomes the Juubi Jinchuuriki like the So6P's did, he can become supra-human for his body like the Sage. I think what's more important is the strength of the seal than the body personally. If the seal is strong, the Juubi will invigorate Madara with its chakra; otherwise, it will consume him.
In fact, some wild speculations, I don't know if this has really been popularly speculated, but the final enemy may not even be Madara or Kabuto, but it may be the Juubi itself, which may be far more advanced than we realize and make the Kyuubi and Madara look like a joke possessing the most powerful doujutsu, chakra, and be sentient unlike other Bijou who were weak (ex. 3-tails) because they lacked human hosts, i.e. Jinchuuriki.
Personally, I'd like them to stick around for a while. These are two of the most interesting and knowledgeable people ever in the Narutoverse sitting around talking about the secrets of Akatsuki and who knows where their conversation could go. Perhaps it's best not to rush them to defeat yet? I'd love it if they had a Q&A, but I doubt they're on twitter or anything, lol. Still, them sitting on the dragon statue under the moon discussing things was an incredible image, savor it. They'll fight soon enough and return to the pure world.
