When and how the hell did Madara give his eyes to Nagato?

10-15 years is shortly if you consider how old he is. He was an adult with the 3rd was a child. Also, Nagato was older than Obito. Im guessing this happened before Madara deteriorated to the point we see him in with Obito.

Well I can accept that 10 years is shortly if one is 120 but I would feel trolled if he meant that...wouldn't you?Shortly is 1-2 even 3 years not a decade or more.

Generaly we have as many clues for this event as to who was Tobi. So the most obvious explanation might turn out to be true again..

Nagato is born around the beginning of the Second Ninja World War, or some year before it.

Obito was born during the Second Ninja World War. Obito is born two years after the Second Ninja World War starts.

From the start of the Second Ninja World War to where Madara meets Obito there are 15 years in between. Madara is in his 80s then (84 in my Naruto Timeline).

Fifteen years back Madara was 69 years old, which could mean that he could have walked on his own and found Nagato and given his eyes. But the part about Madara awaking his Rinnegan before his death is confusing, but maybe it was a lie, cuz Madara didn't actually sad that he awakened the Rinngean before his death, Obito did.

He said "I awakened my Rinnegan shortly before I died" 10-15 years is not "shortly" :p

Madara lived a long time, to him 10-15 years could have felt like a short time.

He probably did it before, after all, Nagato is quite a bit older.
And at least this confirms the bullshit theories about uzumaki's being able to awaken the rinnegan being just plain stupid.

Uzumaki are blood twins to the Senju making them equals. So Uzumaki has Senju DNA. Since you need Uchiha and Senju DNA to awaken the Rinnegan any Uzumaki or Uchiha can awaken it.

Okey, so in order to awaken the rinnegan, you need both uchiah dna and senju dna? If this is true, why don't obito has his own pair of rinnegan eyes? because the eyes he is using is madara's eyes.

Obito is using his own Sharingan with Nagato's Rinnegan, which possibly is Madara's Rinnegan.

Madara said
"I awaken these eyes shortly before my death"

So he did say it, but he probably lived so long he lost track of time, so to him shortly after could be years.

Ok and? didn't he say he was a ghost , so he obviously considers himself to be dead, these are comics but they also use figurative language. He probably considered himself dead once he was hooked to that lifeline , Madara on a lifeline lol. and that probably happened after he gave his eyes to Nagato.

That actually makes alot of sense.... Seeing as the old Madara is actually dead just with new life coming into him 24/7...

Well if you consider all the facts then it either this or maybe some translation error. Perhaps "shortly before I died" might me "some time before I died"

nagato is way older than obito...maybe madara was able to move 10 or 15 years ago

In 602 Obito is 13~ so add that to your time frame, and we have a winner.

Even if Madara was speaking metaphorically or figuratively, there is still an implied context that has to be taken into account and applied to phrases that took place before and after the comment. "I died" used as a metaphor would mean that his heart was broken, or he went into a deep depression or experienced extreme sadness. Does this make sense with the phrases that followed?

Not really, just applying some logic into it. It's makes it more fun for me at least. When someone presents something I hadn't considered, I try not to dismiss the possibility but have to question it as it could completely changes the tone of the story. Motivations, actions, etc would all have to be analyzed in light of the new possibility. It's like getting to read a similar but completely different story. That's where the fun comes in.

dope .... what you think about oro being in the mix? knowing about madara and that he was still alive? how did oro get hashi dna to create (yamato)? what if oro knew that madara had implanted the rinni to nagato and then said to kill them(when they fist saw the orhans) but he really wasn't he was gonna take nagato and put him somewhere safe where he yahiko and conan can all be influenced by him? but then it messes with the previous plot, it like plot no jutsu all over there.lmao

That would be a wild twist. Orochimaru certainly seems to know the "full plan" but has crafted a plan of his own and is not concerned about the War at all. We did see Madara touching his upper shoulder so perhaps that Edo enhancement includes some surprises yet to be revealed. Oro always hedges his bets and it wouldn't surprise me if taking over a revived Madara would be his plan B.

i also find it quite odd that he could care less about the war, i personaly think that sasuke wants to talk to the real madara, why would he want to meet anyone else, he said he wants to go back to the beginning. and oro was more than eager to take him.

Okey, so in order to awaken the rinnegan, you need both uchiah dna and senju dna? If this is true, why don't obito has his own pair of rinnegan eyes? because the eyes he is using is madara's eyes.
This can be explained last chapter Madara said in order to have the rinnegan you need both original eyes. Orbito has only one eye and Kakashi has another.
