Where I live its legal and there haven't been any major issues with it other than regulation.
Its really not that big of a deal.

Well said. Weed is a problem now because it is illegal. It's as simple as that. In comparison to the numerous other drugs, alcohol and tobacco, as well as pharmaceuticals, weed isn't on that level. Someone with adverse effects from marijuana is usually an outlier, rather than the norm, other than the effects that it has on memory. If you criminalize people for smoking grass they will become criminals if you have them be responsible with it they will be responsible.
Legalize Marijuana and Reap the benefits. Everyone wins.
dey would still sell it in black markets and crap for non-medical reasons or cheapter prices LOL i dun kno PEOPLE GUNNA BREAK LAWSLegalize it and place high taxes on it. That way everyone benefits.
Well assuming there's a medical store that sells it and not a black market but even that's impossible. XDdey would still sell it in black markets and crap for non-medical reasons or cheapter prices LOL i dun kno PEOPLE GUNNA BREAK LAWS
Damn. Can't argue with that.I am certainly pro MJ, though I am worried that if it did get legalized, the government would just tamper with it and would add additives to it and stuff. Tobacco is actually not that bad for you, its the cig wrapper, and the filter with all the extra chemicals in it that make it addictive and harmful.
MJ is classified as the same as heroine, crack, or meth yet does nothing at all remotely close to what these drugs do to you. That in itself is fishy on the governments part. They have paid doctors and pharmaceutical companies for years to say that it is harmfull, causes cancer, causes lung damage, causes whatever they can think of when in fact you just might be a little lazy and or eat a bag of cheetos. Research from unbiased scientists from all over the world are proving that pot isn't bad for you (well it can do some damage if you smoke, say, 10 blunts a day for 50 years...too much of anything is bad) and even has multiple heath benefits as others have already stated. It helps with seizures, mental disorders, relieving pain of any sort, relieving nausea, curing cancers and tumors, and helping people relax and de-stress in general.
I used to be against it, because all i did was listen to my parents and other grownups who haven't been educated on what the government has done to prevent pot from being legalized. Once I started doing my own research, I learned that most of the studies they did to prove it was harmful were retarded at best...such as proving it caused lung damage by pumping into a baboon (or some kind of monkey) lungs about 30 or 40 blunts worth of smoke (I am trying to find the link, but this is one tiny example of many) and they used that to prove it was harmful. Also, it is rarely ever mentioned that when people who commit crimes, go crazy, or develop some sort of other illness have also either smoked cigs, drank alcohol, or done some other drug while they were also high.
All i can say is, just do some research and look at both sides of the story. It is still being heavily researched in the US but other countries where it is legal have very interesting studies over the years of what it does or doesn't do to individuals health wise. Just do some research!
Or in other words...Damn. Can't argue with that.
