As thought provoking as this conversation could be it should be closed before ignorant people come on and start shouting their hateful and illogical morally wayward thinking.
The title of this thread furthers peoples ideas that they have a right to tell people how they live and also makes people think it is okay to judge others on their sexuality when in reality it is nobodies business so ultimately their views on them means nothing.It is not their life nobody here has the right to even question how someone else other then themselves lives their lives.

Which is why I haven't called anybody out, even though some of the comments do get on my nerves a bit. I'm not going to look down on people who have different beliefs. IMO, I don't think it's a choice. If it was a choice, then they could easily change, right?

I still remember the saying, "Love is a mysterious thing." It is a mysterious thing, and this thread just makes me believe that saying even more. Maybe it's something that we'll never truly understand, but love is love. I don't think it matters what gender the love is towards. I see nothing wrong with it, and I don't think it should matter if it's wrong or not. I wouldn't let anybody change my opinion on it. We're all equal, yet we're not equal. If people are different then they are looked down upon. This is how I view things like this.

I love my 2 year old son but he is coming to an age where he test is father and mother. I love him but I have to teach him correct behavior.

This is the same sense of how I accept anyone but I don't have to support their actions.

I would have tried to talk with them first, since I hate violence, but if they continued to pick on him then I either would have acted, or I would have held back and find security somewhere. But then again, that probably would have been too late. I probably would have took action, even though I don't like violence.

I probably would have been in the same situation, I'm pretty level headed and really don't care, but I have some friends who would have started the fight, apart from the ones who would be on the other side of the conflict xd. Really though, although a fight was the wrong way to go about it, you stood up for the right thing.
