Despite what feminists and the mainstream media wants you to believe, they do not own the discussion on equal rights and everybody who is ever discriminated against deserves a seat.

Of course they don't. The people describing themselves by the name of colour , caste, nationality, religious groups also up there. Why are you angry at feminists only? Because they are easiest to get angry at you are more likely to get larger and stronger support base when you yell against them rather than others? Isn't that a discrimination itself?

Besides who owns the mainstream media and is in power?

It's really stupid to think that feminism means against men when it's really about women getting equal opportunities and rights as the rest of the population with dignity. If anyone describes it differently and advocates for discriminating men as a gender, then they are in the wrong whether they call themselves as feminists or not.

Some individuals facing discrimination due to other party being too selfish or cunning or not so good, at times is different unless the average number of such cases is too high and above the rest. For then it becomes a matter of concern and some checks and balances becomes a must.

It is funny how you generalize the "current feminism" and how much it sucks but when it comes to MRAs you say "aww the rights!!!" while if even we want to make a general profile of both groups the MRAs would be the a lot worse one. Since you know, a movement is strictly represented bu group of people.

'Men's rights' are like straight prides, saying #whitelivesmatter, making donations for rich people.

By the way MRA is acknowledged as a hate group like Westboro Baptists church.

This article -supported along with a white supremacist, which says a lot about their mindset- tells simply;

There is always a misogynist mindset behind them. They don't want equality they want to keep their priviliges from patriarchy while refusing such thing exist. They have not done a thing for men having rights all they do for 90% of the time is pissing over feminists. They just have a lot of rage to spill.

No,but I believe the right to terminate it should be something both parties agree to.

They should but you seem to be making a generalized assumption that it's only men who suffer because of this right.

This problem works other way round too. Among many married couples it's often that women have to get abortions if men do not want the kid or kid of a certain gender. To keep the marriage some women have to get them even in cases where it endangers their health. The threats of divorce if they do not listen and losing a home suddenly, or constant pressure and nagging or harassment and other threats for the same is also not that uncommon.

Such laws often support them theory at least and it's their body after all. Whether a person wants to use his own body for a purpose or not is his decision, isn't it? It may not be morally right according to some at times but still it's his right. Why take away that from women?

Care to point out where I've said that?

Because I've clearly said that men's rights activists have legit grievances and they don't get to shut up just because feminists think they own a monopoly on gender rights.

But since you're going with the misogyny route,I take it you know #KillAllMen is a thing, yes? And that recently it was decided that it's okay to spew hate speech against a particular group of men when Bahar Mustafi was allowed to keep her job despite being a active member of the above hashtag group.

But hey,I'm sure feminists are doing something about the rampant man hating that is poisoning feminism for everybody else.

Some truth to this. Men do have an easier time with things than women but I don't think a blind eye should be turned to them because of it.

Abortion is a grey area imo,I believe if a woman has no other options or faced some sort of risk to her health(like a medical condition that could kill her and the baby or being raped) then a abortion is fine.

But!If there are other alternatives like the father wanting to raise the kid or adoption then abortion is pretty selfish, you're terminating a life you helped create for self centered reasons.

I recently read a story about how a woman wanted 1 million dollars to terminate her pregnancy, which made me ill just from reading about it.

So to answer the question,I'd have a problem if a woman was forced or pressured to get a abortion.

is it okay for a man to hit on a woman?

My rule is:"You put your hands on someone,be prepared when they do the same back."

If a man hits a woman, she should hit him back.

If a woman hits a man,he should hit him back.

I looked it up for the whole story:

You must be registered for see images

So the event was meant for women of coloured skin and she asked men and whites to stay away from it and some said they wanted a safe place for this group...

And this is what she said in her defense:

she also said the use on her personal account of hashtags such as #killallwhitemen were "in-jokes and ways that many people in the queer feminist community express ourselves".

"It's a way of reclaiming the power from the trauma many of us experience as queers, women, people of colour, who are on the receiving end of racism, misogyny and homophobia daily," she said.

She stayed because not enough members of the student union signed the petition to remove her.

A spokesman for the students' union said: "Following actions taken during the occupation of a university building last month, 165 students signed a petition calling for a Vote of No Confidence in Welfare and Diversity Officer Bahar Mustafa...................................

"This represents 1.9% of our 8,000+ members and our rules require 3% to have signed to trigger a referendum.

"The petition has therefore failed and so a vote will not take a place.

"However, we recognise that some students and a large number of people outside of the organisation are unhappy with the work of our elected representatives.

"We are looking at how we can address those concerns in dialogue with our members and with our trustees, who oversee our work."

Ms Mustafa became the focus of national media attention after posting the message requesting white people do not attend the event for BME women last month.

In a video posted online by local news website eastlondonlines.co.uk, Ms Mustafa described the backlash she has received as "an outrageous distortion of fact".
.

I am going to be completely neutral. She definitely posted some stupid stuff but she claimed some of it to be in-jokes and I don't enough to make an opinion. But you were drawing an incomplete picture about why and how she was able to keep her job or had gotten in trouble in the first place.

If other students thought that event should have not been limited and cared about it( the organizers had recanted and allowed everyone in later on) to a certain group or the wording they should have voted. ..If they couldn't gather even 3% it seems people did not care or didn't feel it was wrong for her to make such an appeal...

Random thought- Are guys/girls only schools, sexist?

I don't find those kinds of things to be "in jokes".And I'm not the only one either.

Had this been #KillAllWomen,#KillAllBlacks,#KillAllJews,or #KillAllGays all of those groups would rightfully be considered hateful.

Yet this one is handwaved as "just a joke".

And no all boy/girl schools aren't sexist, though in terms of social interection co-ed is the way to go.

Yea but it's still a general sentiment that women as a woman must have a severe maternal instinct and want to and have to have kids. And without it she is not enough of a woman. Her not wanting to have child or inability to have one is seen as good enough reason for divorce even in the countries where they do not support divorce that easily.

And female child has many a times been a less wanted one. According to the World Health Organization, biologically normal child *** ratio ranges from 102 to 106 male per 100 females. Converting it to Indian terms would be 943-980 females per every 1000 males. In some pockets it's less than 900. Few years back in some pockets it was less than 800 girls for every thousand boys..

Some regions have been going though severe shortage of women .... And then we get male rights activists saying the laws are harming them for a small percentage of women misuse them...I would rather make some counter checks to deal with such women but keep those laws..

When you mentioned how the poor MRA movement was demonized by evil feminists. Oh and here:

Because I've clearly said that men's rights activists have legit grievances and they don't get to shut up just because feminists think they own a monopoly on gender rights.
What legit grievances? Women being single moms, how Western women not being submissive or how tattooed women should be avoided? Yeah i have actually seen these from MRA. In fact from the most known MRA like Paul Elam or JudgyB'tch(that's her self said nickname)

But since you're going with the misogyny route,I take it you know #KillAllMen is a thing, yes? And that recently it was decided that it's okay to spew hate speech against a particular group of men when Bahar Mustafi was allowed to keep her job despite being a active member of the above hashtag group.
How many men died because of this really ? Honestly when did feminists went on a real killing spree? When i search feminists killing men i find that stupid hashtag. When i search a man killing feminists i find a real thing:

But hey,I'm sure feminists are doing something about the rampant man hating that is poisoning feminism for everybody else.
Look the above example. Obvious who the real threat is.

If it's an in-joke obviously you are not going to get it. Sue her if you wish. Whether it's appropriate or not unless she acts on it or someone else acts upon it it's basically just a stupid tag. Rest is addressed by Paratise.

Men's rights activists seeking to rehabilitate Lépine as hero of the anti-feminist cause....

Some men right's activists raise some genuine issue but it's noticeable how people miss that a considerable portion of the misogynists use them for their cover.

They're not as corrupted as feminists and are the result of feminisms own shortcomings.
