What's your opinion on Bolt getting the chidori?

Come on, Chidori was invented by a non-Uchiha. How come it's an Uchiha thing? Sasuke is the only Uchiha ever with Chidori in his arsenal.

Because Kakashi mainly used it with a sharingan. Which is a "Uchiha thing".

If she ends up being a Sakura type of fighter. I may lose interest pretty quickly from her. Medicial ninjutsue does not interest me one bit. The thing is though I never really expected much from her. Due to Kishi failing to make decent female characters in this manga.

That's perfectly understandable. Still, from what we have seen thus far, she seems to be a far better female character than most of the ones Kishi has sculptured previously. I hope that this continues, and Kishi doesn't do the sporting equivalent of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. That's probably what'll end up happening though, unfortunately.

Sharingan is not a requirement to use Chidori, it's just for aid. Kakashi needed it to better follow and anticipate movements of his targets with the Sharingan. It helped him execute and aim it better. If you can overcome that, you can use Chidori without the Sharingan since it's not a necessity.

Yeah so far her personalty is very impressive. Its just her battle feats that are missing. Considering how much Bolt is hyped, it could be that she will be overshadowed by him.

He shouldn't even be able to use it in combat according to the manga. You need a Sharingan for that. If Bolt can use it in a fight than it's either A) the manga rules have been retconned just for him or B) he's a Gary-Stu for breaking canon rules.

Yes, maybe Bolt has some alternative way of aiming and tracking the opponent's movements. Or maybe, the technique is just based on Chidori but a new lighter variant that can be aimed precisely and fast without visual aids.
