What's your opinion on Bolt getting the chidori?

I would have liked something Hyuuga oriented along with Uzumaki. The chidori just feels like a Uchiha thing.

Well, it's possible that Salad will get the rasengan, so they may be getting the opposite of what you'd think they'd get.

OT: Nah.I have seen too many chidoris and rasengans.At least Minato's FTG coupled with his own unique jutsu would have been better as his name is also "Bolt" but Kishi is not creative as of late

She'd only be a support type if she focused on medical ninjutsu and kept that paramount in her mind while training, but I doubt that's the route Kishi is taking since he had her awaken the Sharingan already.

I think it's a pretty decent thing and it makes things more exciting. It would be pretty lame if Bolt learned Rasengan just because his father has it. This can be a good idea to mix it up + it makes him seem like he wants to learn cool techniques so I'm not complaining. :bdpf:

I don't really care for it as much. Rasengan and Chidori have just gotten boring to me. I'd have rather seen more varied use of Raiton from Boruto, in comparison to Chidori likely being his main jutsu and other techniques being branched off of it.

It's slightly unexpected and makes him not just a Minato/Naruto/Konohamaru clone, so good on him.

Would be so easy to give him the rasengan and the byakugan and say you're finished but nah

If she ends up being a Sakura type of fighter. I may lose interest pretty quickly from her. Medicial ninjutsue does not interest me one bit. The thing is though I never really expected much from her. Due to Kishi failing to make decent female characters in this manga.

Come on, Chidori was invented by a non-Uchiha. How come it's an Uchiha thing? Sasuke is the only Uchiha ever with Chidori in his arsenal.

FTG is a technique which is beyond Boruto's caliber as of now.
