No he was not friendzoned. He met Madara at a young age. And Rin died. Died. How is that friendzone? What the reaper wanted a 12 year old body. And Kakashi said Obito loved her. And Kakashi did not want to be with Rin.

Proof please? Madara has never stated it. He's an avenger. It's cause his clansmen betrayed him. Sure he wanted the seat. But other people saw it differently. He cause war against the leaf that's it.

Its still extreme butthurt to do all of this because a generation of Uchiha who are probably long dead "betrayed" you.

And why is it that madara thinks they betrayed him? Because they sided with hashi and his peace treaty. They even appointed hashi as leader of that village adding injury to insult. After that madara had a melt down, went away found the kyuubi, came back, got stomped then spent his remaining days in a cave butthurt, thinking of ways manipulate the world his way. He didn't have a meltdown until the village was founded and he didn't get the hokage position. Ultimate sore loser.....
