What's Up with the storyline of Naruto

I thought it Naruto was about him going in an adventure or getting stronger to be come hokage. But now its rescuing sasuke, prevent the 10 tails, stop akatsuki, stop Tobi and Kabumaru, save the village, bring peace tot he world. Gaaaaaahh!! If they could only stick with one storyline it would be fine but no it has to be multiple. Which is it then?!

Well if it just focused on one thing it would be kind of boring, it's fun to see all these new things happening. And plus this leads up to him being Hokage anyway.
