What's the "Choku Tomoe"?

I know Choku translates it straight or direct but what does that have to do with anything? And i know its something to do with the Sharingan, but what the hell is it? A Mangekyou?

Madara said that because of choku tome Sauke can move well. So does it meant that Sasuke has more potential than Madara ?

Cuz Sasuke and Izuna eyes are both straight line and thats why Madara was able to awaken his rinnegan thanx to his younger brother Izuna

It's just they type of Mangekyo Sauske has. Obviously there are different types, and it turns out Madara knows about them and what they do....


Which makes me think...

WHAT IF MADARA KNOWS ABOUT KAKASHI/OBITO'S TYPE (he should anyhow seeing how he knew Obito till death) AND THEREFORE KNOWS SOME WAY TO COUNTER KAMUI. Just saying.

It's just a try but can you see this? the difference is the alignment of commas in the Sharingan..

The commas in sasuke's Sharingan is directed straight outside as a whole (don't consider the tail of the comma )
And in Madara's case, it's a little tilted.

No, it means sasuke's has some abilities that mada does not and vice versa.

My guess is that each Mangekyo gives the user a different ability based on its design.
For example a design that consists of straight lines and points, such as Sasuke's, may grant speed/greater object-tracking capabilities. On the other hand, a curved Mangekyo design may grant the user a completely different ability based on the Sharingan's powers (perhaps more powerful genjutsu?).

It's just a theory, but it makes the most sense imo.

Choku Tomoe refers to EMS, and implies that the 3T's abilites are enhanced to their most advanced form, the Straight Tomoe.
