meh, it seemed kinda childish at first, and the animation isn't the greatest, so since it took a while to really get into the story line, it didn't have much going for it to me. but don't get me wrong, I still found it an okay anime.

Heh ya I always got a kiddie feel from OP because the English dubs I saw years ago replaced guns with water guns, cigarettes with lolli pops and many other things on that level.
Based purely on fanbase, I know OP rocks without even reading it. For that reason, I know I will get into the manga eventually.
