What's the appeal to the Uchiha clan?

Personally, I always found the Uchiha boring. I never saw the appeal either. There's nothing wrong with being fans of them, I honestly just don't like the Uchiha clan. I can understand why people love Itachi, but he is the definition of boring in my eyes. But I'm not letting them ruin the story for me

I agree I can understand why people would like itachi but for me he is so agonizingly monotoned and unemotive that I find him to be the most boring character in the manga. Most of the Uchiha just fit a cookie cut mold of proud/ arrogant dude that has an issue with something. Madara doesn't interest me much because he is like every other Uchiha we have already seen but with arrogance times 10. I don't mind sasuke so much it's just that his character is so inconsistant.

Obito on the otherhand is an Uchiha I can get onboard with. He is much more multifacited then any of the other uchihas and his character has been done very well IMO. He just seems out of the norm for an Uchiha which is a good thing because he comes across as fresh and interesting.

Maybe I am missing something, but I just don't see it. What is the appeal to these guys? Out of Sasuke, Itachi, Madara, and obito the only character I can respect is Itachi. The rest are just terrible.

They whine constantly on "how bad the world is". That's really the only thing you hear out of Madara's and Obito's mouth right now, and in all part 1 all sasuke talked about was how bad his life was. Boo hoo, get over it move on, people die.

On top of that, they all take the easy way out for power. For example Sasuke, left konoha behind because he got jealous on how strong Naruto had become, so instead of matching his work ethic, he left to Orochimaru to take the easy way out. And let's be honest, he wouldn't of even got to Orochimaru if Naruto didn't hold back. Sasuke also took Itachi's eyes, after Itachi let sasuke kill him.

We all know about the senju DNA Madara stole.

So maybe I am missing something, but I just don't see the appeal. Do fans like characters who b*tch and moan now? Or take the easy way out? Or maybe people who get one paneled by their own sword? I just don't get it.

Out of those three, the only character I can somewhat see an appeal too is Obito, because you can relate to him.

Honestly if you had to pick a favorite clan, a clan like the Hyuga's would be better.

You act as if sasuke never trained. It was actually naruto who failed to match sasuke's hard work

Naruto's training is always guided, always planned. Sasuke actually learned on the battlefield.

That is a little one sided because they all in a way have great character development but they are flawed by the choices they made

Obito didn't start the war because of rin. In fact he literally said those words in the manga....and yes obito is more interesting then the other main Uchiha. Of course this is my own personal opinion.

Obito is the worst of the four uchihas. I think itachi is well written . Madara and Sasuke are kind of similar(although madara's more insane than Sasuke.)
