What's so special about unfused Momoshiki ?

I understand the guy can absorb chakra, ninjutsu, and send characters attacks back at them with more power but what can he do against characters that don't use ninjutsu or attacks that can't be absorbed.

I honestly don't see him beating guys like Hashirama, DRSM Madara, or Gai.

If a character doesn't use techniques then Momoshiki also has to rely purely on close-combat. You could see the frustration on his face when Sasuke and the others were talking about their plan.

I understand he's powerful but he's not stronger than some non rikudo characters like Gai or Hashirama.

He just has a very exploitable weakness and can't compete with most God tiers without being fused.

He's skilled in taijutsu and was able to hold his own against Sasuke, Darui, and also evade attacks from Gaara. So I'd say he's pretty powerful. Not to mention one of his kicks sent Naruto through a thick concrete wall, all the way to the trees.

In terms of intelligence and physical strength I'd say he's up there

Also when he fused with Kinshiki he became extremely powerful and all of that power wasn't just from Kinshiki. He was probably half of it. So he's very strong we just haven't seen his true power at work.

Naruto, Sasuke, Madara, Hagoromo, Kaguya, and maybe DMS Kakashi depending on if Momoshiki can react to kamui.

I would say Hamura, and Ashura but they're featless.

Hagoromo doesn't have enough feats for us to gauge his real strength. But I agree that Madara and Kaguya are stronger. Naruto and Sasuke might lose to him individually though.

That rasengan was nowhere near the power of Naruto's strongest attacks and you really think a 13 year old genin is really needed to help Naruto and Sasuke beat some guy that's below JJ Madara.

Sasuke clearly was not trying his hardest.
