What's so great about Wood Style?

Hello everyone.

This is not meant as a troll thread.

I honestly don't see what's so great about Hashirama's oh-so-reputable Wood Style. We have barely seen it in action (he caught Hiruzen who easily freed himself) and that's about it.

Oh sure Madara used it, but it's used by someone who has unlimited chakra and was created to be haxxed. I just don't see what's so terrifying about it...can't you just put them on fire or cut them down? Hashirama's tactics need some serious work:

"Oh no, my trees have been cut down! I know! I'll use MORE TREES!"

It can surpress chakra (Susanoo, bijuu's etc) but it is overrated. Blaze release and lava release would own mokuton tho

It can effect a large area and can suppress the tailed beasts. That's pretty decent in my book.

We don't know the full extent to his Wood Release only to which they showed in Part 1 while their souls weren't actually present and were being controlled by Orochimaru.. Also how does he need some "serious work" defeating an EMS Madara is a great feat..

I will list some things:

I can be a great defence, I can be a great offence, It can suppress your opponents with ease, It can overwhelm your opponent, you can turn parts of your body into wood and extend it, there is so much more.

Hashirama is the best with it and can do the most things.

This is only a fragment of what hashi can do, I hope you can see why wood release is so deadly and amazing.

well I don't see why it's so flashy but I think because it can supress chakra of tailed beast besides Hashirama cells gives its owner vitality
