One Piece is an interesting anime, it has too many main characters and everyone has his own speciality, that's what made me like it.One Piece has a serious character like Zoro, but Zoro is funny most of the time, and let me tell you something, every charater in One Piece is funny, and they get serious when they want to, One Piece is hilarious, it's damn funny, the villains are cool, actually you fall in love with them and cheer them up, One Piece has more villlains than for example Naruto which makes it more adventurous, the marines and the rival pirates are the main villains, so I guess it's ok if it's long, One Piece desreves to be long, actually it makes you excited of what'll happen next, and the new characters keep coming.

I don't know about the english dub uncuts because I don't watch english dubbed at all for anything.

But I'd say don't skip One Piece fillers at all. If you watch straight from ep 1 to the current episode you wouldn't even tell the fillers apart from the canon episodes because they're just so good compared to Naruto fillers and Bleach fillers.

Of course you can if you want to but I wouldn't because they're entertaining and not long.

Fillers are:
50-51
54-60(Warship arc)
93
98-99
101-102
131-143
196-206(G8 arc)
213-216
220-226(Memory arc)
317-319
326-335
382-384(Spa island arc)
497-499
506.

I haven't watched every single episode or read every single chapter, but by far it has the one of the best character screen time ratios. Everyone gets a spotlight. No character is shoved down your throat. You actually like every character. OP does this extremely well. It's also really funny, which never hurts and it's also badass. It is about pirates afterall. It evens everything out. Not too much comedy/action/talking for a whole chapter about something meaningless/etc.... It has a balance of things, which makes it the, well, best.

Why would you ruin your One Piece expierance like that? Watching animes in dub, especially, the likes of One Piece, is the worst thing you could do.

If you can't enjoy animes in their original language, maybe animes aren't meant for you (or anyone watching dubbed animes for that matter) and you should stick with western cartoons with the good old english voicing.

Taking away their voices and accents is like taking away character souls.

P.S. Avoid only Warship Arc (54-61). Other fillers are pretty good and some are as good as real arcs.

Hm... I might give this anime a try, but it does look really kid-ish and I totally remember watching this on 4 kids or something and it was just sht (no offence)

If I do watch it... which ep. should I watch? Which ones do I avoid (fillers)?? I want to watch it in eng. dub (uncut)

80% of people who watch OP are 18+.
It may look childish in the beginning but Character and Story Developing is better than Naruto and Bleach.

Watch all, there are barely any fillers. If you want a list, google it. And unlike Naruto and Bleach, the fillers make sense and don't stray away from the actual Storyline.

Also, Eng Dub is retarded since the best episodes aren't even dubbed yet, as far as I re-call.

Not really, I watched Naruto like that (part 1)
I only started to read the manga during the 5 kage summit

But what makes luffy so "interesting"? Does he have that will of fire like Naruto? Does he have the guts to never give up???
What makes him so interesting?

Will of Fire?
Like I stated before(did you ignore it?) Taking to a series requires an open mind.
Its not wise to watch One Piece with the perspective like it could possibly be like Naruto.

Just start from Episode 1 and be patient with it.
If you have questions, ask them when you've caught up.

naruto is the exact opposite of luffy, i loved naruto during vs pain battle just because he was a badass for the first time in the anime and that's why i love luffy . When i know that he is gonna get serious i am like "omg here it comes :D "
.He is mostly acting stupid but when he needs to he is a total badass. He can give me goosebumps with just a speech of his (that's for the ones that watch one piece , like when he told ussop that he doesn't wanna know whether one piece exists or not)

By the way watch them subbed and not dubbed. As they mentioned before it's like the characters lose their spirit and they are not original any more...

Luffy is a complete idiot and has a very simplistic view of the world, but that often means that he can see past situations and understand what is really going on. He is also a complete genius when it comes to battle, he'll come up with the craziest strategies, and adapt really well.
I don't think nobody else has as much willpower as he does. No matter how injured he becomes, his willpower keeps him alive. One of the "card-fortune tellers" tried to calculate Luffys chance of living, and no matter how many times he did that, it never reached 0%.

Hes strong as hell. His family is completely screwed up, both his father and grandfather are world famous. (One for being a marine and the other for being a revolutionary leader).

Luffy cannot be CRUSHED by anyone... anyone.. cause hes made of rubber of course :)

And Luffy doesn't use talk no jutsu. He just beats his opponents to a pulp till they understand what they are doing is wrong.

Gah, can't you use the search button?
You'd get your answers and thats more flexible.

OT: There are plenty of things good about the series. Ranging from the plot to the character and their development further in the series, the randomness of the fights, unpredictable story, master works of Oda, tough enemies, no ridiculous power ups and sticking to the series logic. Long running series and unbelievable addiction involved so I'd say its the best.
