[Discussion] What's Orochimaru's next move?

Orochimaru has been unsealed and he used to have 2 goals : destroy Konoha and take Sasuke's body.

I don't see either happening because Konoha now has an overpowered Naruto in full Kyuubi mode, and Sasuke will sooner or later have rinnegan.

He could simply join Sasuke on his revenge against Konoha, but that would be supporting Tobi's side in the war and I don't think Orochimaru would like to be under a permanent Tsukuyomi from the Eye of the Moon plan.

So what's he gonna do, just retire from shinobi and live a peaceful life? I don't get it.

Hes really has a fair chance at killing anyone. A sick orochimaru went head to head with a 4 tail naruto. And we've never actually seen a healthy Orochimaru fight. So who knows.

I say Orochimaru will just live a chill life in a secluded place after the manga ends. His urge to destroy Konoha isn't that strong and he's obviously never going to take Sasuke's body. But, he'll continue to research ninjutsu. Also, he'll probably take Kabuto with him since he's the person Orochimaru cares for, possibly the only person.

It's true Orochimaru is ridiculously strong but I don't think he'd defeat a Sasuke with rinnegan.

he is gonna kidnap suigetsu an retreat to his love nest where he will chain suigetsu up in compromising positions. Which is why suigetsu is so afraid of him.

He's going to one of his hideouts, probably to rest and find a way to gain more power. His goal is still getting Sasuke's body, so he will probably train ( or whatever) to obtain more power, and then go back at hunting sasuke.

i actually think that after sasuke gets what he wants, he will have a brawl with orochimaru and kill him off.

One of his main goal is to unlock true immortality and obtain all ninjutsu, so he will probably keep researching and lurking in the shadow because he still a wanted criminal lol

but all people assume he's dead though.. all he have to do is keep things on a down low then it should be alright, even if people accidently come across him.. I'm sure other will call it crazy and still assume he's still dead..

hard to call.. but he still play a main role in the manga.. I always had a feeling he wouldn't go away so easily and early in shippuden lol he basically died in the beginning of the whole part 2...

but as one of the sannin he play one of the most important villain if not the most original evil villain in the whole naruto series..

I'd love to see Orochimaru come out on top of other villains somehow. I believe he is smarter than Tobi or Madara, he just doesnt have the means to do what they do due to lack of KKG and such.
