Well, Kakashi was scared as shit, when Orochimaru approached him at the time of the Chūnin Exams while he was sealing Sasuke's Curse Mark!

That doesn't mean that we should underrate Kakashi, or in this situation Suigetsu. :y

Kakashi was a lot weaker in part I, arguably weaker than Suigetsu is now. Additionally, Kakashi didn't show his fear until Oro left. He tried to maintain some semblance of courage.

Suigetsu's not a normal person. He's a talented shinobi with super human powers. He needs to toughen the **** up.

Hello, Jugo wanted to be locked up, he willingly went to Orochimaru. I don't know much about what happened to Suigetsu. It must have been pretty bad. But who wouldn't be scared. We're talking about a guy that just won't die and also regurgitates stuff out of his mouth! Heck, just about every character is afraid of him.
