Just because Hiruzen was too old and used up all of his stamina when he created shadow clones, that is why he cant one shot Orochimaru...

Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu. (Itachi used the latter on Jiraiya's Toad eso****us tech).

Sand Coffin couldn't kill Kimimaro and ET was incomplete to the point Hashirama and Tobirama had little power to work with. Sand Tsunami and Jiraiya's swamp tech were pretty significant though.
