whats more stronger byakugan or sharingan?

also during the fight with Kisame, Nenji escaped the water prison with a byakugan technique, and since he escaped a technique as strong as that made by Kisame, in my point of view he can escape everything.

1.sharingan doesn't need to copy it because that's not the only strength
2.how will byakugan reverse the sharingan's genjutsu and stuff like amaterasu
3.the byakugan depends on close range attacks while the sharingan supports the user in both close and long range

I think its a bit hard to tell which one is stronger. They both have their good and bad points. Both also turn you into a jerk or a timid little kid. Unless you find Naruto anyways. Straight up fight between the two I would still have to say it depends on the ninja since all the Byakugan needs is a glancing blow, a 1 or two tomoe sharingan would probably lose to that, 3 it would definitely depend on the ninja. Hinata vs. Madara = Madara for instance.

well he actually could have become a jonin depending on that... if he used it correctly.

and even without MS, sharingan itself has genjutsu so how will he reverse that?

and we did see neji use byakugan again... when they went to akatsuki's place and he had to fight himself and he was only using close range attacks...

i dont remember seeing any genjutsu being done with the normal sharingan. i know it enhance your senses, and the ability to copy ones ninjutsu. byakugan is pretty much undeveloped like sharingan. cause if i recall hinata learned her own style, in the anime (not sure if it was in the manga). but for the most part sharingan would probably win hands down

sharingan is stronger but like everyone said byakugan has is underdevelop.but you also have to see the stress relation that deals with both eyes. If i'm correct Sharingan actually has more stress to the person then byakugan. but at the same time we havent saw much of the byakugan, or at least i hasn't

I see it as this more powerful the more stress to your body.
Some sharingan users like kakashi has even more stress on his body due to. it wasnt his eye in the first place.

kakashi once said to his friends about itachi: "don't see in his eyes, he's able to create genjutsus with that." (or something like that). when sai first enters oros hideout, sasuke looks in his eyes and creates a genjutsu with the sharingan and later captures deideira with it (who escapes because he trained to counter genjutsu). in the sasuke vs. itachi-fight, the first few mangas they are completely fighting through genjutsus, without any seals.

but it can evade the attacks of a byakugan-user, simply because byakugan-users fight more with chakra-concentration, wich makes it easy for the chakra-seeing sharingan to evade. so if the two are on the same physical lvl, sharingan wins.

every prison-technique made of chakra maybe, but if it's a deadly jutsu, byakugan won't be able to evade, sharingan would. So in rare situations, when u have an enemy who's stronger than u but doesn't want to kill u, byakugan is more usefull. in all other situations, sharingan is better.

my choice is easy: sharingan. you are able to copy almost everything, evade very much and caught half of the ninjas in genjutsus. additionally, you are able to see chakra and become nearly unbeatable when u get the ms or at least the ems. k, byakugan has its pros with its higher developped ability to see chakra, his 359? view and the increased ability to use chakra for little things like destroy chakra points or break through prisons, but nothing of that can outbid the higher evasion, the ability to directly create genjutsus and the possibility to become a true monster of ninjutsu-knowledge.

It?s such a complex topic, as such one cannot say hands down which is stronger or weak. Both these dohjutsu?s has there pro?s and cons. My personal preference is Byakugan, it gives you 3D perception of your surrounding, ability to detect chakra and its flow. It also gives the user excellent chakra control as a result of their training with the gentle fist fighting style, which in turn allows control their own chakra flow properly. As discussed in the manga, the ideal method of releasing a genjutsu is to stop the chakra flow to the head or disrupt it. With their excellent control in chakra Hyuuga should theoretically be able to break sharingans? genjutsu.

it does have genjutsu... just not many names for it... for example when sai was in the room when we first saw sasuke in shippuden... and also when itachi and naruto were fighting for like 2 seconds when they were going to akatsuki hideout

basically what the byakugan does is makes u be able to see 360 degree and allows the use of awesome taijutsu... but just because u can see 360 degree doesn't mean u can dodge or block any attack... u can just see it. The sharingan allows quick reflexes so that you can dodge and block a lot of attacks. Plus the sharingan allows for epic genjutsu that the byakugan can't do anything against since it relys on close range taijutsu

if you didn't miss some episodes you would see how hinata escaped bee's wax prison while she was in water...and you would see the 2 episodes when neji killes the guy who beat sasgay's ass...i said it great sharingan masters like itachi and madara would win against neji there is a big gap in ages madara is freakin 2000 years old lol..and we see that hinata and neji are evolving...i am alomst certain neji or hinata will find something against susano...their chakra control is impeccable,see the episode when hinata killes millions of the bees with her ultimate defence without any blind spot and they literally stop the time with their speed they have no match
