And kakuzu's other partners were most likely fodder akatsuki members who were there at the beginning, or maybe not.. I dont see nagato letting kakuzu kill off his original friends with no consequence

Agreed. Each puppet with unique abilities, greatness.

Oro dedicated his life towards forbidden techniques.... I'm 100% sure he didn't stop at what was shown already.

Back then they were just a group of rebel ninjas fighting for amagekaure against hanzo, yahiko etc weren't really "s rank" quality like current day akatsuki... so i doubt the large group of ninjas we saw were anything speciall
