It got bad after mewtwo like the others said. The season after that was alright. Then it hit the bottom imo. The games are still a bit of fun but the older games will always be the best.

The anime just dragged on (Its still going on i think) it was awesome when it was still new, but repetition has MURDERED the show. The card game just had the usual shit done to it: Change. The original game was beast, and I dont really know what has changed, but card games especially usually go down the shitter with age because companies are always changing the damn thing. Like i said, i dont know how much pokemon has changed, but take yugioh for example; When I was little, that shit was BEAST, but now when I look at it now with all these new card types and changes in the rules like very month, it makes me go "WHAT IS THIS? This isnt what I loved, this is crap!"
