Was going to play MW3, but PSN is down for the afternoon for maintenance. So after I scan todays threads, and maybe watch and episode or 2 of dbz, I will be playing skyrim. At this exact moment I am NB'ing and drinking a mountain dew, and cleaning the empty beer bottles off my desk.

Yeah its on the Playstation website they will be down until like 11pm here. they said 2pm to 2am PST but I'm on the east coast.

i hate wen this happens i was right in the middle of a match and everything then my shit froze and then it was over..whats the purpose behind all the maintenance is it because someone is trying to hack PSN

I think this is just regular maintenance but I'm not sure. They are doing work on the Call of Duty Elite service today to I think. Maybe banning some cheaters and cheat proofing the network I'm not sure. But it should be back in about 6 hours is all I know.
