I'm not counting NaruSasu, lets be honest, they are the only pair that actually go together and they are not supposed to, Kishi and romance = fail

It's a shame actually, from a story telling point of view having a relationship between Naruto and Sasuke would have been powerful and brave of Kishi instead he develops relationships that don't work because the characters don't go together and he is forcing them together so there is no power in it. I guess Shuisha would not have let him anyway, but it would have beefed up his writing cred. If you look at it from a purely story telling point of view, the characters seem as if they are meant to be...plus Kishi would have made hoard of fangirls rabidly happy XD
