Kakashi would be just a normal guy with a mask, ha-ha. THe story behind that is, that I got my younger bro into Naruto, and he loves Kakashi!!! He was so excited and wondered what was under Kakashi's mask, haha.

True and he was only able to perfect it cause of the Sharingan.
He had speed and power for the Chidori, but he moved too fast to be able to see the enemy's counter attack.
That's why Minato told him not to use that attack anymore since it was an incomplete jutsu.

he was still respected, but not as much feared. He probably would have been anbu level, or high jounin lvl
