He is immortal but only to some extent... i mean i am sure that anything that completely destroys him can actually kill him. And with this i mean: Rasenshuriken, Amaterasu, Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Technique and any other jutsu of this kind...
Also sealing jutsu might affect him.
And to answer the original question yea, dumping him in acid would kill him if he spends enough time in it to completely dissolve, otherwise it's just a nasty burn xd
