I'm not talking about him fighting Naruto or Madara.

Just asking if Sasuke would to use Kirin, how would he pull it off quickly to hit an opponent?

It's not an ass pull, it was a foreshadowing of Sasuke's future power. As an Indra transmigrant he is naturally gifted with Yin release, which is what Kirin basically is. It is also said to be natural lightning, Indra inherited Hagoromo's chakra which is technically Senjutsu.

i find it hard to believe that Jiraiya's red flames roasted pain's bird immediately, but amaterasu's co-called "flames that are hot as the sun" couldn't even roast the bird as quick
