What's the point? Not everyone has the time commitment every week to read a chapter, while they could be reading another series they're actually excited for.

I played World of Warcraft for 8 years, put about 5000 hours into that game....yet I'm on a hiatus.

Thats totally irrelevant to the point Im making. Obviously you dont have to read every chapter every week. Once you've read a series for over 5 years, there is really no purpose in not finishing it.

Playing a game like that doesnt really matter whether how long you play it or not

Throughout the years, ever since I started, I really loved Naruto. Some of those years, I would read some pretty weird stuff, but I was determined to push on and finish it. However, this recent arc has really made me question my commitment to this series. By the time Kaguya returned, I had to make a decision - to read it or not to read it. In chapter 687, I still had hope for the series. But then the most recent chapter was released, and the coffin was nailed shut. I decided that enough was enough, and dropped it.

You're underestimating how much free time a lot of people have. Let's assume Billy has been watching X show for 6 years, suddenly gets completely disinterested in it, and instead of using his valuable free time watching something that he's y'know, disinterested in....could be watching something he's interested in.

This concept isn't very complicated.

OT: The only series I've ever quit was One Piece and The Walking Dead. I'm not quitting Naruto; it's the best reoccurring manga.

I Feel the Same way. Naruto is my childhood and I love Him as A Fan when I was a Child Because I can relate to how he feels. Before Pain Arc I was Commitment to it, I will but all those books, magazines, And movies, Until Nagato did his Rinne Tensei then I stop, But This was the only manga I ever read , So If I drop it there nothing for me to read. So I keep going and It was Ok Then Madara came and made me Enjoy naruto again. If you keep reading it maybe after this Arc is over you will enjoy too. ( That if Naruto doesn't end ) If you going to stop then your going to Miss the Naruto Vs Sasuke Fight xD
